We stayed in upper campsite #4. It is a beautiful site and easily accessible with our 33 ft RV. The sites are gravel and un-level, but two 2x6's under each wheel were enough to level our RV. The shade trees prevented reception for satellite TV, but you can receive PBS channels through the air. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. Cell phone coverage at our site was unstable, but it worked in other areas of the park. The bathrooms need cleaning and major renovation. The toilets were not bad, but the showers are moldy. It basically needs a good scrubbing. The views are awesome! Although the park needs some TLC, it is worth a visit. You must see the view from Pulpit Rock and Rhododendrons on the Rock Garden trail are incredible. The lady at check-in was extremely nice and helpful. We will be back.

Beautiful campground and area. Great relaxing place to visit. The staff was friendly. We stayed by the river and listened to the mountain stream. Very relaxing and worth the extra dollars to stay by the river! New bridge has been completed so do not worry about issues there. Excellent Wi-Fi. Spotty Verizon coverage at the campsite but the signal is great 1/2 mile up the road. This is the mountains so campsite was not level, but two 2x6's took care of the leveling issue. Awesome covered deck overlooking the river with picnic table and fire ring, but no outside grill. Bathrooms are old and outdated. Beware of ice bath if someone flushes a toilet while you are showering. Could use a little TLC. Great location convenient to Cades Cove and SMNP. Under 30 minute drive to fun parks, but without the congestion. Campsites are far more spacious than the ones in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Price reflects an extra $4 per guest for our two children. We will definitely be back and would recommend this campground. Try the caramel apple cake at the Carriage House.

Great family friendly campground. Pool and splash pad are great for the kids. Pads were paved and wide. Picnic tables, power, water, and sewer at all sites. Beautiful views and lake sites available. Limited shade due to hurricanes. Permanent staff at check in very friendly. Volunteer staff left a lot to be desired. I will definitely stay here again.

Family friendly campground with very clean restrooms and showers. The individual shower rooms are great. The pool and some facilities are a little old and outdated but are still fully functional. The pads are gravel and not paved, but they are wide enough for my slide. Picnic tables, cable, power, water, and sewer at all sites. Staff at check in very friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
