Quiet campground, mostly seasonals. New owners, who are working hard to make it an even better campground. Nice pool and recreation room. Playground for children. We are seasoning there this summer. The rate listed above, is not the rate we paid, but the rate listed on the web site. What could make it better would be more 3 ways hookups (currently only 2 of the seasonal sites have 3-way hookup); and some type of cable or satellite TV hookup. We camped at Lazy Frog Campground in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground. Wide sites. Nice large pool. The owners/people who work here are extremely friendly and accommodating. The park is very clean. One of the previous reviewers complained about the cleaniness of the bathhouses. Well we thought they were the cleanest bathhouses we've ever used anywhere. They also have a unique bi-level shower head apparatus which is very nice. Store could be better supplied, particularly with foodstuffs, and the store/office closes at 7pm, this is particularly important as it's a significant drive to obtain groceries, etc. The only things I can think of that they could do to improve the campground (other than my comments about the store/office) are as follows: a satellite system for TV reception (if that included a Wi-Fi network so much the better); a hot tub would be nice, particularly outside of the hot summer season. Note, we did have to level out our motorhome a bit, so come prepared with a few leveling boards. Note to those using the dump station, my husband was very impressed with the construction of it. Another note, cell phone reception ranged from 1 to 3 bars, with 1 to 2 bars being the most common. By positioning my cell phone near the window of the motorhome I was able to connect through the cell phone to the Internet. We camped at Cozy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Note, the owners, who are very friendly and welcoming, purchased the property a few years ago and are working on renovating this campground (which also includes typical 50's style cottages). Unfortunately for us RVers, they are targeting the work at the cottages first. Regarding computer access, they will allow you to use their computer at the office -- or if you have a Ethernet cablet you can connect to their modem (but note, there doesn't seem to be any place to put your laptop to work from). Note: They do provide an area in the pond for swimming, I was told it was clean but cold. The bathroom facilities while clean, could use some work to spruce things up. It's nice to be able to walk from the campground into North Woodstock (and with a little more effort and energy into Lincoln). The location of the campground provides easy access to many of the attractions and scenic drives in the Franconia Notch area. While we had a wonderful time there, we will not likely go back until they have renovated the campground area itself. We camped at Maple Haven Resort in a Motorhome.
