Osh Vegas Palms Resort, Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is an RV park of last resort. They don't tell you what the rate is until you have already parked. Cash only. Was told rate was $50 per night - for a gravel spot with electricity and water. No cable, no sewer. They settled for less when pushed. Don't believe the sign which reads "Osh Vegas Palms Fabulous Resort"! We camped at Osh Vegas Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Badlands / White River KOA, Interior, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Badlands/White River KOA. It is truly an oasis in the desert. It's close to the Badlands National Park, but in a very quiet location. Large dog run. Helpful, friendly owners. Plenty of room for a big rig motor coach. We camped at Badlands / White River KOA in a Motorhome.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at Glenwood Canyon Resort. As an RV park, it is quite adequate, but not resort quality. Sites are close, pads and interior roads are gravel. All utilities worked, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the things that made our stay so enjoyable was the location on the Colorado River, with steep canyon walls surrounding the resort. There is very convenient on-site white water rafting, and a zip-line across the river. Biking and hiking trails skirt the resort providing opportunity to enjoy the river or ride into the delightful town of Glenwood Springs a few miles away. The surrounding towns of Aspen, Carbondale and Redstone make the area a wonderful venue for exploring and provide spectacular scenery. Finally, there is a new outdoor bar and clubhouse where folks gather for a root beer float or adult libation. Bottom line, this is a great base from which to enjoy the area. Tents and small RV's can camp directly on the river, larger rigs are on the upper level. Access is easy as the resort is right off I-70, but road noise is almost non- existent. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.

Wolf Creek Run Class A Motorcoach Resort, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We just spent 10 days at this wonderful RV resort situated right on the San Juan River. Sites are spacious and well landscaped. In addition, each pad has an attractive storage unit which also provides a pleasant, shaded patio area with table and chairs. Wide streets make for easy maneuvering to your concrete pad. Pagosa Springs has lots of things to do, white water rafting, wonderful hot springs, hiking, fishing, shopping and much more. But the friendly staff/owners really make this RV resort a special place to stay. They are very helpful and attentive to your needs. The large mountain cabin clubhouse provides a friendly meeting place for a light breakfast snack, happy hour and special get-togethers. If you are looking for a great setting, friendly people and attentive owners, this is the place for you. We camped at Wolf Creek Run Class A Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The park is set some distance from the highway, so noise is minimal. There is a nice, fenced, very large pet area. A full breakfast served in the morning for a reasonable price. The sites are small, but the park is clean, neat and well-run. There are still many shaded sites, gravel pads are level. It is a few miles from the center of town, good scenery. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.
