Traverse City KOA, Buckley, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay and found location great for visits to Traverse City, Interlochen, and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Friendly staff and nice facilities.

Only complaint was the people who work in the area starting diesels at 5 a.m. to leave for work. I always think the people who still work should leave their vehicles in front of park so the rest of us can sleep! We camped at Traverse City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Maumee Bay State Park, Oregon, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We love staying here whenever we are in the area. Quiet and very private sites with plenty of grass.

Staff is terrific and always helpful.

Only issue is lack of water and sewer at sites. We just limit our stays to four days and use on board tanks. On holiday weekends the line to dump tanks can be very long, but sraff is there to keep things organized and moving. We camped at Maumee Bay State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhart Campground, Elkhart, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We always stay here when in town for RV repairs.

Owners are very friendly and helpful. There was a rally in town so we only got a 30 amp. No sewer site. Lots of room and we were allowed to pick a site that worked best for us.

Owner lent me a portable air compression to fill up my bike tires and was very helpful. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fox Den Acres, New Stanton, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped overnight on our way to Virginia. Easy access from freeway and very large pull thru spaces.

Quiet except for volunteer fire department siren that went off on the middle of the night.

Easy, casual reservation and liked not having to give my credit card info for a one night stay.

We will definitely add this location to our stopover whenever in the area. We camped at Fox Den Acres in a Fifth Wheel.

Naples / Marco Island KOA, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

I agree with others about the no-see-ums at night. Good location with a fair number of semi permanent residents. Nice pool and laundry facilities. Staff was very friendly.

Sites were a little tight, but reasonable. Met lots of friendly campers. Naples and Marco Island are close by, as well as Walmart.

Didn't enjoy the loud music from the the band playing at the pool one day. Not everyone wants to hear live music.

We didnt have any problems with wildlife.

Nice facility and would stay again. We camped at Naples / Marco Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

St Augustine Beach KOA, St Augustine Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our time here. It was quiet and relaxing which was surprising during Daytona 500 week. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The sites are older, but we had no problems getting in or leveling. We enjoyed the view outside our back window of the small lake.

Close to shopping and local tourist spots. We could walk or ride bikes to the beach which was less than 1 mile away.

All utilities worked fine and every request was promptly taken care of. The entry is a little tight, but we didnt have a problem.

Would return again. We camped at St Augustine Beach KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Orlando NW / Orange Blossom KOA, Apopka, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park outside Orlando. We been two weeks here while visiting Orlando. Really close to Florida toll roads which gave us quick access to attractions in Orlando without being packed into rv spaces.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great laundry facilties, close to grocery stores.

Rates were much cheaper than those close to Orlando. We camped at Orlando NW / Orange Blossom KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

As a full time RV'er we stay at this location every time we travel through. We have never had a bad experience here. They are always friendly, helpful, and always try to make our stay easy. Yes, there are trains nearby, but many places we stay have more trains and more noise. As far as the recent water problem it is the fault of the city and not the owners. They did the right thing and called us ahead of time to warn us of the water problem. As a small business I don't expect them to offer me free discount for a problem that is not theirs. I would recommend this location to anyone traveling through the area. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

I always enjoy stopping here when traveling thru the area. Although the park has many permanent residents they work in the area and are very quiet. The manager was very helpful and friendly. Pullthrus were easy to get in and their showers and laundry are spotless. We camped at Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

JGW RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We absolutely love staying at this park. Every time we pass through the area we stay here and usually extend a few days to enjoy the river and large sites. Best pull-through sites I have seen; long, open, and easy to access. Staff is always friendly and helpful with directions to local sites. Cash discount for sites. Near camping world and Travel Plaza for fuel. We camped at JGW RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a fun place to visit if you have kids! We need an overnight location and stayed for two days. Lots of activities for kids, big pool, basketball courts, and mini golf. Very family oriented staff. They even have a restaurant on site. This is one terrific location. The owners obviously care about their clients needs. I give them an A plus. We camped at Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Great location to visit Palmyra or Rochester. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even lent us a 50 amp extension cord when the site they gave us was too far from power. We would have stayed longer but they were completely full. We camped at Canandaigua / Rochester KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
