Date of Stay:

19 RV sites, 4 new tent sites. Sites are level gravel, water pressure ~40 lbs, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi is solid, fast and free. Verizon signal is good. No trees, so satellite shot is clear, and the starry skies are spectacular at night. Park is clean, and folks are constantly working on improvements - they built a new fence while we were here. We think it's a relatively new park, and judging by how full they stayed, we expect they'll be expanding. They do have the room to. We'd stay here again.

Rate reflects week stay with Good Sam discount. Outstanding RV resort. Was beautifully landscaped, with large sites, level concrete pads, wonderful pool and spa, friendly staff, free rock-solid Wi-Fi. 2011 is their third season. On Saturday night you can sort of hear the dirt track racers about a half-mile up the road, and most days you can sort of hear the folks screaming on the roller coasters across the street. Easy satellite access from most sites. We'll certainly be back.

Date of Stay:

Rate reflects 3 nights of Passport America, 4 nights with the 15% FMCA etc discount for a middle row pull through. Riverfront is more, back ins are less. Note that only 50amp hookups are available: be sure to bring an adapter if you need less. We didn't find the freeway noise to be objectionable. You probably won't hear it over your AC if inside. Very friendly, very helpful folks in the office. Water pressure's a little low: 40lb. Park is on the river side of the flood wall, so be aware of the river levels. New pedestrian bridge across the river from the park to the Clinton Library will be open by fall 2011, making it even more convenient to Little Rock's tourist areas. Park rules limit stays to 14 days, but there are also rates posted for longer stays. Excellent Verizon signals, fast Verizon internet.

Rate reflects Passport America + $3 for using a 50-amp site. We were here five years ago - new owners now and the park is great. Free Wi-Fi is the best we've seen - over 10mbps download speed! Access road has been properly paved, new pull-thrus with concrete pads, very friendly and helpful staff. Most sites are well wooded, so be sure to ask about satellite-friendly sites when you reserve, if that's important. Good Verizon phone and data service, but the free Wi-Fi is so much better than the air card.

As we checked in, the owner told us that he always vowed that when he built his own RV park, he's fix all the things that annoyed him about RV parks. Looks like he came pretty close. All the sites are pull-throughs. The outlets and breakers in the electrical boxes are well labeled and numbered so you know how they're paired. Plenty of water pressure. Well maintained, friendly folks, great place to stay. We'd stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Rate reflects combination of 30amp site, weekly rate and Escapees discount. One of the nicest places we've stayed. As far as noise, depending on which way the wind blows there is some airplane sound. As far as mud after the rain, there is some, but they were also applying gravel and grading the last couple of days we were here. Friendly, convenient, and just a couple miles from Camping World! We'd stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Lots of trees - if you need satellite, make sure you tell them when you reserve. Narrow interior roads, but sites are mostly level. Very convenient to Rocket Center (obviously) and the botanical gardens. It's the area that's the destination, not the campground.

Date of Stay:

Rate is Coast to Coast plus $3/day to run our AC. Lots of long-term and permanent sites. Most rental sites are not fully sewered - just a gray water drain with a 2" pipe. Dump station is at the very rear of the park, and costs $6 to dump. Honey wagon is also available. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Most interior roads are pretty tight, and the park says "no rigs over 33 ft". We're 32 ft, and just fit our space. Planned activities every weekend, breakfast and dinner available on weekends. It's an active park, lots of kids. We'd stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Agree 100% with previous review. The park now has a small laundry - 2 washers, 2 dryers. Aside from getting our rig into and out of the park and our site, we like the location a lot. We'd stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Our weekly rate includes sales tax for a W/E site out in the field - satellite access is important to us. We were escorted to our site, and they helped us position for best leveling. Site wasn't officially a pull-thru, but the layout was such that we used it as a pull-thru. Location is good, staff is extremely cordial, and the free shuttle bus is wonderful. DW says laundry was spotless and reasonably priced. We'd stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Rate is Coast to Coast. This is a resident-owned "community", and visitors (like us) are not allowed access to most of the amenities. C2C spaces are scattered among the permanent residences. Most of the permanent structures are older trailers, with a scattering of park models. Doesn't look like any have ever been washed. Spaces are close together. Heavily wooded, very hard to get satellite signals. It's a Verizon "extended service" zone. It is convenient for visiting the northeast Poconos area. Laundry requires tokens instead of cash. We wound up here by failing to reserve soon enough elsewhere for the July 4th holiday weekend. Park staff is not geared to supporting non-residents, and keys to get into things like the laundry are reluctantly doled out. We probably won't be in this area again, but if we are we'll try to find someplace else to park.

Date of Stay:

Membership park - our ROD rate actually $0. Can't comment on improvements under new owners, having never been here before. But the current owners are very busy fixing & upgrading. Most of the park is long-term and permanent occupants, but the transient sites are separate from the permanent sites, and quite close to the pool. Our site was grass, almost level, quite large. Staff very friendly. On-site restaurant open weekends for breakfast and lunch. Only RV park we've seen with a skateboard park - and a pretty big one at that. Be sure to follow the arrival directions on their website to avoid the worst of the hills. We'll stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Rate is actually $0 for a 30amp site with an ROD membership. Add $2 for 50amps. Just to set the record straight, this IS a membership park, but looks like they are affiliated with almost everybody - ROD, AOR, RPI, Coast to Coast that we know of. Sites we could choose from are not very level, and not paved. We finally leveled, and after one move were able to get satellite internet & TV. There is a building marked "Country Store", but it wasn't open during our stay. The sites are tight, and 40' really is the maximum rig length, 'cause the sites are just 40' long. If you pull a toad, you might have to park it elsewhere. On-site trash pickup is nice, staff is very friendly. If you stay here, drive over to Madison and visit the microcar museum - it's a blast.

Date of Stay:

Rate is Passport America. Overnighted one night on our way north. Nothing much has changed since the older reviews below. There is quite a bit of highway noise, and it looks like most rigs other than ours are long-term residents. There is an on-site RV service and repair facility which we didn't check out. All in all, nice place to stop but nothing spectacular.

Date of Stay:

Speedy, but convenient. Rate includes $3 daily electricity fee. Mostly here to see a Space Shuttle Launch. Everything said below is correct. Park really caters to long-term guests this time of year. $15 fee to wash vehicles. Highway noise is annoying, but not all that bad. We stayed in the "grove" section, all concrete pads, all motorhomes, good satellite access. Trailers and 5th Wheels were in other sections of the park. Staff is friendly and efficient, but also annoying somehow. Maybe it's because we're only here for 10 days. Park is actually at Mims, FL - right next door to the KOA. WiFi is not free. We'll probably not stay here again, mostly because of high price. Otherwise, a much better than average place to park.
