Otter Lake Camp Resort, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Clean campground with friendly staff, well stocked camp store, lots of activities for kids. Huge lake with a small beach. Bring your glove for evening softball games. We were unable to get an AT&T cell signal in H loop and had difficulty connecting to wifi in that area. Able to easily connect to wifi in other areas of campground. Security rounds frequently. Quiet dogs are welcome per literature, however they need to be more mindful & address problem pets. Would recommend and camp here again. We camped at Otter Lake Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Try to use a route to the campground utilizing Wooddale Rd. Marshals Creek Rd is narrow, winding and riddled with potholes.

Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Staff very friendly. Not as many activities for kids as other KOA's we've stayed at. Upon entering, there is no hill. Store is well stocked. If you are staying in the front of the park, most sites seemed to be pull throughs with little shade. Section 300-500 is down a big hill behind the office. No issues pulling 30' TT up or down the hill. This area offers more shaded and spacious sites. Our site was level and required no additional leveling. Bathrooms in this area were new and very clean. Would recommend and stay here again. We camped at Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Turkey Hill Experience is pricey for what they have to offer. Park and hike/walk to Chickies Rock for a great view of the Susquehanna. Lots of small towns nearby to explore and enjoy.

Lake-in-Wood Camping Resort, Narvon, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate reflects holiday weekend rate. Campground staff and seasonal campers very friendly and welcoming. Offered escorts to your site as this is a large campground. Sites in our section were large with lots of foliage/distance in between. As others have stated, lots of one way roads with minimal signage as well as no markings on campground map. We did heart the quarry early Saturday morning. Plenty of activities for everyone. Bathhouses were spotless and up to date. Didn't seem to be heat in ours. Showers needed more hooks for personal items. Only one hook in shower I used. Golf carts everywhere, although they are electric. Will be returning and would recommend. We camped at Lake-in-Wood Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Bellefonte / State College KOA, Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects KOA discount and weeknight rate. Nice quiet campground. We were in site #3. Sites are level gravel, but very close together. So much so that there was not much room for our tow vehicle. Back in and pull through available. Access roads are gravel, as well. Friendly staff, nice store, well kept pool. Wi-Fi strong. Bathrooms clean and up to date. Only 2 miles from the Interstate and seems to be a popular over night stop for those passing through the area. We would return. We camped at Bellefonte / State College KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Sun Valley Campground, Bowmansville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects special Halloween weekend rates. They called us ahead of time to preregister and avoid lines at check in which was a great gesture. Entrance is gated. We stayed in 700 section. Sites are gravel, roomy and some leveling may be required. Picnic table and fire rings at each site. Bathrooms a little dated, but clean. Staff friendly, helpful and trusting. Prices for extras, e.g., firewood, visitors, etc. are reasonable, some of the best around. Safe, but liberal visitor policy unlike others in the area. If you enjoy Halloween activities, this is the better place. Great Haunted house followed by haunted hayride and trick or treating for the kids. Would recommend and will return. We camped at Sun Valley Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Knoebels Lake Glory Campground, Catawissa, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

A nice campground without all the glitz and glamour. No activities for kids as most families spend their day at Knoebels. Small arcade available. A great mix of pop ups, tents, RV's and motorhomes. Clean showers and restrooms. Office open late until 11 pm. As others have said, it's camping the way it used to be. Guests can come and go as they please, staff are pleasant and available. If your site is available you can set up prior to checking in. Numerous shaded sites. Most sites are natural and not level. Shuttle service to Knoebels park runs frequently. No internet available at this time. Will return and recommend to others. We camped at Knoebels Lake Glory Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages, Pine Grove, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Excellent store and restaurant with a must visit ice cream parlor. Clean bathrooms. All sites are level gravel with minimal to no shade. Wi-Fi was strong and worked well. Lots for the kids to do. Pool w/ slide, arcade, carousal, ferris wheel and usual camp activities. All the activities including ice cream parlor seemed to close early for summer hours at 9 pm. Would definitely recommend this campground, however, if you enjoy shade, this may not be the campground for you. We camped at Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages in a Tent Trailer.
