Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely beautiful campground. Stayed here for a week in June, and was very impressed. Super clean restrooms, nice people, green mowed grass. Loved it. This was our 3rd stay here. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground, Wilson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $64.00

We made reservations via the internet because of the beautiful grassy wide site advertised. We showed up in our 41' coach and were immediately disgusted. They were installing new cabins at the front of the park, so I gave them a pass on the ridiculously muddy, rutted, pot holed road leading to the office. We checked in with a very nice young lady and proceeded to our spot. We had to dodge construction equipment, workers and dogs as we made our way back to the assigned site. There was no possible way to get our coach into that site because of the tightness of the turns, so we passed it and pulled into a site that we could at least drive through. We thought for a moment that maybe we could take it for 1 night, but noticed that even in this larger spot, we could not get 2 of our 3 slides out because of trees. We pulled back forward to the office, checked out, got refunded and moved campgrounds. Their campground is grossly over rated by anyone who gave it more than 2 stars. The next park gladly accepted us for the week and it is immaculate compared to Jackson CG. They lost 3 coaches for a week because of false advertising. We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Motorhome.
