We had a nice stay here. Commercial gate was easy to navigate. Sites are small and close together. Camp host aides in backing in. Facilities are spotless with free ice in laundry room. Some complain of aircraft noise but come on people, this is an AFB after all. Shopette & gas station are next door.

Lodge is now complete and very well done. We found the camp ground to be very good. Sites were level, shaded but a little difficult to back in for some especially at night. Number of 50 amp sites have increased. No wifi & no service with AT&T. Restaurant at lodge was fair but on par with other state run facilities. We will gladly return.

This park is mainly a football tailgating RV park run by the university. It is located on the parking lot to the Lloyd Nobel Center. All sites are level with good electric. We were the only RV on site but we can well imagine how lively this place can be during football games. They have no facilities for dumping nor potable water.

We are here for 2 months and have been extremely happy here except for the weather. Previous reviews are accurate with not much to add but confirm their accuracy. The staff here is excellent which helped us to make up our mind to re-up for 2015. Only problem is that I will go home with a few extra pounds as the area has no shortage of great restaurants. Our rate was computed using our monthly rate of $650 which includes electricity.

Update to this park. They have added very nice 50 amp towers. The towers are similar to marina towers. Still no sewer hookups but still great views and quiet.

KOA's don't get better than this one. All spots are pull through with good spacing between them. Access roads are wide & well thought out. The registration building which houses the showers, public rooms & pool area are just outstanding. Each site has a round picnic table, BBQ grill & trash cans. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Will return.

We had a great time during our month stay in Port Aransas at Marina Beach. This park is spacious. Everyone was friendly & the convenience of being in town was good for us. Our only complaint would be that we had to buy Wi-Fi service, there is no cable, a pool that wasn't heated, and a hot tub that wasn't adequate for commercial use. We will return next year for another month or two. Port Aransas is lost in time & is a wonderful fishing town.

It's just a 10, simple as that.

The other reviews pretty much echo my thoughts but I thought it would be good to add another thumbs up review. Very nice owners. The bathrooms & showers are the best we have seen. No cable but we got 99 channels through antenna. Owner says it is a result of a rural TV act done years ago by the state. 2 hot tubs we working but pool was shut down for the season. This is the new owners first season to stay open all year. Many are closed right now. The National Park was great! Would stay here again.

We stayed here with a RV club (group rate). We found this park to be much better than many KOA's we have stayed at. The staff here is very friendly & the small cafe serving breakfast & dinner is very handy. The sites are level & gravel/grass which were OK. Facilities were spotless & the small store had a lounge area with a big screen TV. Would be glad to return anytime.

We really enjoy this park. Sites are level with a lot of space between them. We were here on a week day & only 4 others were here. Our site was about 200 feet from the water with good shade. Understanding that this camp ground has its limitations (30 amp & no sewer) it is a hidden gem. Our rate has a disabled rate. Senior rate is $18, others $20. We will go back. There was no host when we stayed, first come first served with honesty box at entrance.

What a nice RV park. One of the nicest parks we have been to. Other remarks say it all, friendly, modern, all concrete roads, level sites, good spacing & easy access. Would love to stay here again!

Basically you park in a parking lot with water & electric. The spots are narrow but pretty level. Truck parking runs parallel to the RV spots so truck noise can be a problem. We were told that they are in the process of developing a new a RV park which will have electric, sewer and water along with a store & bath house which should be done in 2 months. It will remain the same price being the first 3 nights free. Casino, restaurants & the facilities were very good.

What a surprise this place was. We met some friends from Texas here. Very new, all concert pads, very level & spacious. Sites were long enough to park 2 RV's with 2 electric/water/sewer hook up at each site. I was told that they don't double up spots but they could. Even the back in spots were easy to navigate with lots of room. We aren't much a gambling but were told this is the 3rd largest casino in the world, over a mile long & building.

Nice camp ground. Very friendly staff. All spots level with adequate spacing. Rest room & shower room spotless. They were full the night we stopped by (Cowboy Poetry Gathering) so my rate was for dry camping. Would go back.
