RV Ranch at Grand Junction, Clifton, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice looking park, many full timers, about a mile from I-70. They had a nice pool. Roads were paved and easy to get around. Had a small store with some RV items. Nice looking park. Pull thru sites were all 65' long, level and paved with separate areas for 50 amp and 30 amp (maybe 4 lanes for 50 and another 4 lanes for 30). Back-in sites in a separate area and in wooded area adjacent to city street. Cabins in wooded area in rear. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Travel Trailer.

Lakepoint Resort State Park, Eufaula, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

No cable or WI-FI - life's tuff in the woods. We have overnighted here four times in the past three years - guess we like it. Don't miss a tour of the city of Eufaula - fantastic antebellum homes. We camped at Lakepoint Resort State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tra-Park RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park, Pecos, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly people but, like most parks in the area, most spaces are taken by oil field workers and the facilities get rundown. We camped at Tra-Park RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Travel Trailer.

LoW-Hi RV Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park takes Passport America. It is about 6 miles south of I-10 but well worth the short drive. They have desert gardens at the end of most parking rows that are quite beautiful and unusual. Hope to stay here again. We camped at LoW-Hi RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

River Town Campground, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights. Large open area raised 10 feet above the surrounding area 5 miles south of I-20 on four lane divided US 61. It was quiet. The manager said it was built to accommodate a casino that wasn't built. Would stay here again. We camped at River Town Campground in a Travel Trailer.

International RV Park & Campground, Daytona Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

$20/night rate is great for location within walking distance to Speedway, very large Flea Market, and 6 miles to beach. Nice pool and store. Level, paved sites. Easy in and out. We were part of a rally with 15 rigs, and they gave us the use of their Rec Room and provided a free pulled pork dinner! Didn't like the restroom facilities - very small men's room with two johns and three showers for 350 sites! I believe women's was similar. 40' foot sites were back to back where we where (our Truck and Trailer is 50' but we lucked out and got a space to ourselves without having to pay for the second 40'). Would go back again but wish they would do a better job with the restrooms. We camped at International RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean park. The entire park is clean, crushed rock with a few shade trees. It's hard to support grass in the desert. Nice pool and store. Short walk to casinos and restaurants. Friendly staff. Will stay here again. . We camped at Wendover KOA in a Travel Trailer.
