Tucalota Springs RV Park & Campground, Hemet, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here Fathers Day weekend, in a great shaded site under an oak tree (C14). NOT crowded at all. All sites were large and well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The fishing pond is great for the kids, and is catch a release only. Saw lots of perch caught and a couple of large catfish. We enjoyed the little zoo, and my wife loved feeding the bunnies vegetables. A little out of the way but worth the trip. Great campground we look forward to going again soon. We camped at Tucalota Springs RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake O'Neill FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Oceanside, California

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground and family friendly with large sites. Not all sites have full hook ups so make sure you ask when you make your reservation. Lots of fish in the lake and boats are available for rent in the summer. Quiet park, with exceptions of major holiday weekends, when it gets very busy. There is a nice hike trail that circles the lake. Have stayed here at least a dozen times. We camped at Lake O'Neill FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.
