Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground, Fort Pierce, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Rate was based on a month stay. I don't agree with the negative comments of other reviewers. The wifi was great (they did mention that it had been upgraded), landscaping was very nice and well-kept. We were on a site at the far end on a curve, and it was very wide. All sites have concrete pads and patios that are long enough for the RV (36') and car. Folks were fairly friendly. Nice pool and decent cable. I would come back, and have no complaints. I didn't think there were excessive rules. We camped at Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The "Luxury" part of their name is a stretch, although the pool area is very nice. No hot tub. This is a family park with lots of families and single guys living there full-time. Lots of kids and dogs. The park has about 10 rows, the back one butting up against the backyards of a neighborhood, separated by a 6' fence. Most people in that neighborhood have dogs that are outside most of the time, and barking at all hours of the day and night. We were in the back row backed up to the fence, so that was a problem. Since there are only about 10 rows, I would guess the dogs could be heard by the majority of the park. Tengointernet was not working the entire month I was there. Cable was good. This park was not for me, but would be great for a family visiting Sea World, as it's very close. Price is based on the monthly rate. We camped at Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Gulf Waters RV Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park, neat as a pin, boardwalk to beach. Sites are individually owned, so most folks are owners and not interested in mingling with temporary RV'ers, other than a friendly hello. Our site was on a pond and that was very nice. Sites beautifully landscaped, and they are all spacious and level. Not many activities. Nice pool. We drove around and checked out other resorts/campgrounds, and this park is by far the nicest in Port A. Port Aransas was a great town. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Llano Grande Resort and Country Club, Mercedes, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly people, TONS of activities, nice pool/hot tub, wide, level sites, well-kept. Affiliated golf course not great. Town is a bit run down and not much there, but bigger/nicer towns and good shopping just about 15 minutes away in 2 directions. Also close to Progresso, Mexico, which was safe during the day and fun. Would recommend and would stay again. Price based on monthly rate. We stayed on the east end, which is cheaper and older, but very friendly and close to the main pool and rec center. A few of the sites in this section are occupied by full-timers and are a bit old and need some attention, but most are fine. We camped at Llano Grande Resort and Country Club in a Motorhome.

Indian Valley Campground and Canoe Livery, Middleville, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

It features friendly staff, a nice, woodsy type atmosphere. The sites are plenty big with lots of shade. We did a kayak trip and it was great. The weather was great, so we would have preferred an outside pool instead of the indoor pool, which is very loud when the kids are playing. We camped at Indian Valley Campground and Canoe Livery in a Motorhome.

Cochise Terrace RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great place to stay. Very clean, nice facilities, and most people are friendly, although many are regulars who winter here every year, so it is a bit clickish. The pool area was very nice, but we were disappointed that they didn't have it heated, even as the weather got a bit warmer. We stayed for 6 weeks in January and February. The rate listed is nightly, with a Passport America discount. We would go back again. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.
