Very nice State Park, friendly staff, beautiful lake, walking paths, and for those who fish, it is top notch. We would definitely stay here again passing through. Friendly helpful staff. $39.00 seems a little pricey, no discounts offered that I could find. Pretty much out in the boon docks, but very nice and peaceful. Nice camp store (brand new) for all your needs.

Very nice overnight stay, and a great value for the $ $ $. Back in site overlooking the Mississippi River from our back window of the travel trailer. Restroom/showers were immaculate. Use caution negotiating getting in and out on highway 2, however, major construction going on at the park entrance. No water or sewer hookups, but there are plenty of water spigots and a dump station available.

Very nice little park in Michigan's UP, well maintained and manicured lawns. We only stayed one night passing through west bound -- the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Good laundry facility. We would definitely stop here again.

This is a great spot -- check in at the Comfort Inn behind the Exxon Gas Station (Town Pump) just before coming to Interstate 15 (if coming in from the east on highway 2). Immaculate and new looking restrooms and showers, nice sight. . We would definitely stay here again -- good for an overnighter or a base camp to explore nearby East Glacier National Park.

This was a nice little park for an overnight stay, although a little off the beaten path from I-90. But $58.00 is too steep which includes $5.00 non resident deposit and $8.00 for entrance fee. $39.00 a night would have been more in line for the quality provided. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the scenery was nice, and the restrooms were adequate.

An O.K. park for an overnight stay, but nothing to write home about. Roads and campsite were pretty muddy, the shower/restroom facilities were temporary portable type buildings, looked like in need of an upgrade. Looked like more of a trailer park with permanent residents.

Very nice peaceful and quiet KOA overlooking Chautauqua Lake. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Clean restrooms and very nice laundry which we utilized. We would definitely stay at this one again.

Expensive but very convenient to Niagara Falls. Friendly, helpful staff were very knowledgeable when visiting the local attractions. Bus stop to the Falls right at the KOA entrance was very nice and convenient. We would highly recommend it for a 3 day visit. A lot of nice amenities including indoor pool and hot tub.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the sites are extremely tight and hard to get into and navigate. Inadequate parking, too many trees, and unlevel spots. With the help of a neighbor and my wife, I was able to jockey my 31 ft trailer back into our space, but had the space across from me been occupied, it would have been impossible. On departure the next morning, I had to go out the way I came (one way in) because of the trees. The park staff was very helpful in that regard and closed the entrance long enough for me to exit. It was also the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and the park was "packed". Also $39.00 is way too expensive for the amenities offered.

A nice park for an overnight stay. Easy pull through, adequate restrooms and showers, although a bit of a walk from our camp site.

Lots of nice shade, friendly people, and exceptionally clean restrooms and showers (recently remodeled). Would have stayed another night or two had we not been on a tight schedule. Definitely a repeat.

This was a top notch KOA! The owner was very helpful when we arrived with a broken window, providing cardboard, duct tape and other materials to seal and weather proof while we were there. Very friendly professional personnel, nice, clean, well maintained, grassy sites. The owner recommended a great restaurant for us in Wakeeney, The Western Kansas Saloon and Grill which stayed open until 9:00 P.M. Although Wakeeney is very small and in a remote part of the midwest, it's a nice little oasis in the middle of Western Kansas. We will return.

Beautiful park with beautiful views in a foothills setting. Many, many hiking trails. Close to Ft. Carson, and Colorado Springs. We stayed two weeks and could have stayed longer if it was allowed.

Beautiful State Park. In fact I haven't yet found a Colorado State Park I didn't like. Beautiful nature trail all along the Colorado River. It can get 100 degrees in mid-July but the mesas on both sides help hide the sun earlier and later in the day. Tip: Start your AC early, set it lower to begin with and use your awning. Verizon doesn't work well, but AT&T is pretty good. The restrooms are not as nice as in others, but they are satisfactory. The camp hosts are very nice and friendly. I will certainly return again. Nice relaxing 5 day stay.

This is my third time to stay here at Pa Co Chu Puk, the only section with full hookups. Each time I enjoy it more and more. The $30 per night reflects having the annual Colorado State Park pass, otherwise there is a $7 a day entrance fee as well. I bought the annual pass for $75. It's well worth it and paid for itself the two weeks there, as well as the many other state parks we stay at in Colorado. We had a spot next to the river and it was absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of spacious area between campsites and trees for privacy. There are beautiful nature trails right in the park being in the foothills area of the San Juan mountains. The camp hosts do an outstanding job keeping things neat and orderly. Proximity to Ouray and Telluride is another great feature. I wish Colorado State Parks would let you stay more than two weeks at a stretch, I would stay here all summer I'd they would allow it. Make your reservation well in advance (up to 6 months ahead) as it stays full during the summer months. There usually is no camping available here without reservations, and it stays full all the time.
