Golden Village Palms RV Resort , Hemet, California

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a destination park and would be a good place to spend a month or more. It looks like they have lots of activities available. We were only there for one night but would like to go back and spend some time. There are many park models in the park. We camped at Golden Village Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bodega Bay RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

A well maintained park, everything very neat and clean. Sites have a small fence to define edge of site. Long enough for the motorhome with tow attached. Sewer at the back of site and took extra sections to connect. Sewer opening almost as high as motorhome outlet. Wifi worked well as did Verizon. They have a area with games set up such as corn toss and others. A small dog run. Bathrooms were very clean. A small store with a few supplies. A restaurant and coffee shop on property. Many beautiful views of the ocean nearby. Also several nice beaches. We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Redwood Empire Fairgrounds, Ukiah, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills park located at the fairgrounds. When there are no events going on it is quiet. On Saturday nights there is auto racing in the summer which apparently is loud. The park also backs up to a baseball field. There were no activities the two times we have stayed here and there is only some distant road noise. The wifi only works if you are close to the office. The sites are a nice size with grass that appears to be watered and was recently cut. Roads and rv parking is gravel. No patio, picnic table or firepit. As an overnigher it worked ok. We did not have to disconnect the tow. About half the sites are pull through. We camped at Redwood Empire Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park for overnight or a few days to explore the redwood forests nearby. Quiet location, paved roads and some grass between sites. Wifi worked ok. No cell service. Some sites not satellite friendly, ask for one that is if that is important. Roads easy to navigate. Sites are a bit narrow but still enough space to have a table and chairs out. This is a nice place about a days drive from the SF Bay area so we always stop here when making the trip to or from the bay area from the north. We camped at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beachfront RV Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

The thing that brings us back here is that you are camping right on the beach. In the pull thru sites motorhomes have the ocean right out the front window. Most fifth wheels park backwards so they have the view out the back. This is a public park so there are a lot of people coming and going all day. The park is closed from 10 pm to 7 am but there are no gates to keep anyone out. Being on the beach there is a lot of sand and dirt that gets tracked into the rv. The sites are very narrow, barely enough space to get the slides and awning out. They have a 14 day limit so there are no long term campers. Brookings is a nice town with several restaurants and stores for supplies. We camped at Beachfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

No extra facilities here but they have everything you need. Good showers and laundry, club room and book exchange. Mostly concrete with landscaping between sites. No dragging dirt into the RV. The park is visually appealing. Wifi works best near the office. Verizon worked well. Wide driving spaces makes it easy to maneuver unless someone parks in roadway. Sites are a little short for big rigs but there is extra parking for toad or towing vehicle. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

A nice park and convenient to town. The park is well maintained and clean. Many seasonal campers but sites all kept clean. Sites are close and no picnic table or fire pit. Wifi was ok most of the time. Verizon was strong. Our opinion is this is the best rv park in town. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kampers West RV Park, Warrenton, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

All sites are back in and the rear of rvs are very close. Sites are long enough to park car in front of rv. Wifi was hit or miss. Verizon worked well. This is a good spot for fishermen as they have a cleaning station and a place to cook your catch. Overall the park was quiet enough except for the fishermen leaving before dawn. We have stayed here several times and feel it is a comfortable place to stay. We camped at Kampers West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Peaceful Pines RV Park, Cheney, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A nice small family run park. Lots of green grass that is watered. Most sites are back in. Lots of trees but we got the satellite to work. Wifi mostly worked. Verizon was good. This park is a way off I90 but was convenient for our purposes. When making reservations they tell you they are close to the railroad but it is about 1/2 mile away and they do not blow their horns. It was not at all bothersome to us. We would stay here again. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Located about 3/4 mile from freeway but 3 miles from exit 514, still easy pn and off. This park is located on a ranch and is visually appealing. The sites have green watered grass. The roads are easy to navigate and have a good gravel surface. The pull through sites are long and level. Utilities are well located. There is a nice playground for the kids. Wifi worked well as did Verizon. After check in you receive an ice cream and are led to your site. Everyone was very friendly. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Countryside Campgrounds, Lennox, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The park is part of a truck stop, motel and RV park complex. The sites are unusual in that all sites are pull through, parallel parking to an open space. It is nice in that you do not have another camper right outside your door, but then all traffic is right along side the left side of your unit. This park is very convenient to I-29, easy on-off, but there is highway noise. Most sites are long term campers. Wifi was OK. Verizon good. For overnight this was OK. Getting fuel was easy and the price was good. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.
