Two Rivers Landing RV Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Riverfront site. Neat and clean. Blooming Crepe Myrtle trees on both sides of all motorhomes, down the line. Washing machines and dryers worked well, new. Pool clean and refreshing. Turkeys and deer across the way. Ducks and geese swimming past. Very quiet. Sites long, plenty of room for additional cars if we had them. We camped at Two Rivers Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Collier-Seminole State Park, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Due to locale near Everglades and technically in a swamp, mosquitos were unbearable. I can not imagine tent camping here. 30 Amp service not reliable on high use weekend. Our electrical protection system kicked in luckily and saved our system. Good location for accessing Everglades of course. Need a boat or a toad because there really isn't anything to do in the park. Seeing the dredge machine and the reproduction old Post was neat. Playground was sad. Potholes were water filled but able to manage them and the turns with our 34 foot RV. We camped at Collier-Seminole State Park in a Motorhome.

Cypress Campground & RV Park, Winter Haven, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean restrooms. Well heated pool. Nicely set back from main road. Well lit but not flooded with light. Wal-Mart is within walking distance which we considered a good thing. Pet Friendly. 2.5 miles from LegoLand and a few more to Bok Tower Gardens. Nice little minigolf. Rec room nicely equipped. We'll be back on the next trip to LegoLand. We camped at Cypress Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wekiwa Springs State Park, Apopka, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Site #2 close to clean RR was a shaded site but narrow. Two slides out, awning 1/2 out, touching trees. 30 amp, no 50 amp available. 1/2 mile or so bike ride up and down hills to swimming area. Beautiful large springs, no gators, was lovely and refreshing. No playground in campground which was a drawback for us. Turkeys and deer abound. "7" because it's too far to the swimming pool to make it a quick bike ride in the heat; the narrowish site and no playground. Wish they would move the Campground further in, away from suburbia. Can see houses from campground. They had nice pools. We camped at Wekiwa Springs State Park in a Motorhome.

Fair Harbor RV Park, Perry, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Full hookup: good electricity, sewer. Snowy cable TV channels. Slow Wi-Fi. Insufficient ratio of bathhouse toilets and showers to sites. Bathhouses stink BAD, but appears clean so I don't know why it stinks. Spiders in the electricity housing before we sprayed them out and hooked up. I do appreciate no code necessary for Wi-Fi. Ok site: not paved nor level but tolerable. I would try a different place next time. I hate stinky bathhouses. Pricey for what you get. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fern Lake Campground, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $27.00

No road noise noticeable in our MH. Has a clean BR and showers, nice shower water strength. Had a level site, working electricity and water, didn't use sewer but it was right here. Well kept yard. Family owned and obviously cared for. Good Wi-Fi. Dog friendly. Nice lady. Would stay again. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

United Campground of Durango, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground. I don't understand the most recent 3/10 rating. It in no way deserves that. Trains are fascinating, planes pulling gliders are too - only about 4 times a day. They water down the roads several times a day and treat for mosquitoes which I've never seen done anywhere else. Nice pool, not that close to road actually. Ponies to feed. People come out and wave at the train. Clean showers and bathrooms, lots of hot water. We stayed for a week. Decent Wi-Fi, great cable. We camped at United Campground of Durango in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Liked this campground. Short ride in, was bumpy. Highway noise 4/10. Located on a hill, sites were level though. Good electricity/water. Nice garden with flowers and birds. Bathroom was HOT and HUMID. Needs to be air-conditioned, owners! Helpful person at front desk. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Fort Smith / Alma RV Park, Alma, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice setting. Nice kid's playground with older but interesting equipment. Shower/BR clean but too far down the hill to comfortably use. Site not too level but OK. Beautiful pool but closed at 8 PM so couldn't use. Lawn mowing dusty and annoying around time of leaving. We camped at Fort Smith / Alma RV Park in a Motorhome.

West 40 RV Park (CLOSED), Shamrock, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Good overnight basic RV park with 30/50 Amp service on neat stands, new looking water attachments with good pressure and easy in/out access for large rigs in the back. Minimal trees but this is Texas, not NJ. Nice Texas cows in the background and minimal I-40 noise, especially from the back 50 Amp service row. Nice lady owner, doesn't take long term residents, no mobile homes (perms) at all. 1970s playground equipment was exciting for our 7 year old. She's not used to anything but plastic so that was a neat treat. Pool looked clean but so much dust, couldn't see through to bottom, so no go for us. It fit the bill for one night. We camped at West 40 RV Park (CLOSED) in a Motorhome.
