Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A sweet Route 66 park located just west of Albq where the owner welcomed us! Park has a great nostalgic feeling with vintage Route 66 collectibles. Also has a Mighty Wurlitzer which was played for us during our stay. Wi-Fi is supreme if you need to keep in touch. Property was clean and orderly. Nice pool, hot tub. Will definitely stop by again! We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Travel Trailer.

Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $25.00

Even if you have an empty gas tank and are dead tired, find a way to keep moving! We checked into this park, needing full hookups after several days of boondocking. Yes, our Airstream is petite, but why place customers in the smallest possible site when roomier sites are available? Placed in the back of the park along with large piles of dirt, rocks and broken glass outside our door it felt like a developing country. Park excuse: new septic. Also, Wi-Fi was slow/nil. Difficult as a writer with deadlines to meet. There is another park in town, much more accommodating. Seek and you will find! In park's defense they offered to change our site: too little, too late. Keep on moving! Checked out early and left $$ on the table. Clerk pointed out the "No Refunds" policy on the board. Such hospitality!? We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Travel Trailer.
