Pioneer Trails RV Resort , Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a gem of a park tucked into the trees. The sites are wide and long and the roads are wide enough for easy maneuvering and turning. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We camped at Pioneer Trails RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pocatello KOA (Formerly Pocatello Creek Campground and RV Park), Pocatello, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

When I made the reservation on line, I requested a 50amp full hookup site, pull thru as we were just going to stay the one night. My email confirmation was for a 50 amp full hookup site. When we arrived, it turns out our site only had 30 amps, but it did have sewer. When I inquired about a 50 amp site I was informed that the sites that had 50 amp were either too short for our rv or did not have sewer. The staff was very helpful, however, due to the lack of 50 amp availability, I would not stay here again. We camped at Pocatello KOA (Formerly Pocatello Creek Campground and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground that is immaculately kept. Almost all sites are long pull through. Well kept up pool and restrooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an awesome campground. Sites are long and wide, truly big-rig friendly. Plenty of shade trees and elbow room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to help them talk us into the campground as our GPS had us several blocks away. However, there is also very little signage to the resort. It is tucked away at the end of a residential street, which also makes it very quiet. Our rate reflects the Good Sam discount. Wonderful place to go bicycle riding as all the streets are paved and all the sites are paved with a concrete patio at each site. Very well taken care of park, near to both Ocala and Gainesville. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent park for visitors to New Orleans, within a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter and quite safe. Our rate reflects the Passport America rate. We had a water front site with plenty of room for our RV with 4 slides and tow car. Staff was friendly and helpful, although when we wanted to extend our stay, they asked us to move to another site (2 over), but no one ever showed up to use the site we vacated. If it weren't for this inconvenience, I would have given them a 10. The only drawback was getting to the site, kind of have to get over the area. But the park was quiet, and we felt very safe. They also have a restaurant on site that was very good. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent RV park. Sites were wide and level and many pull throughs. Large, mature shade trees and easy to navigate with a large motorhome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful pet walk area and even a dog wash! Owners evidently take great pride in the park as it is clean and very well maintained. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Motorhome.

Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park), Garberville, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Although our overall impression is very positive, there are some things that could be improved upon. The restrooms closest to our campsite were old and worn. No amount of cleaning will make them look attractive. Sprinklers need to be adjusted and even though we removed all chairs, etc. from any grass and put everything as close to and under the slides of our motorhome. When we got up in the morning, everything was soaked including all the windows of our motorhome. It really isn't necessary to water the concrete patios. And, unfortunately, there are now permanent residents here in some old dilapidated rigs which takes away from the overall appearance of what would otherwise be a very lovely park. However, the dog wash is a definite plus when traveling with pets! We would stay here again. We camped at Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Horn Rapids RV Resort, Richland, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This could be a lovely park in a beautiful setting, however in the two years since we were here last, there are now a large number of very old, dilapidated units that are obviously permanent. This greatly detracts from the overall appearance of the park. Park staff are very helpful and friendly. Sewer connections, while convenient to our coach, are almost in the middle of the neighbor's small patch of green. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course, Manteca, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet park with level pull through sites. Just those large yellow boulders that define the pads can be a pain. You really have to be careful when maneuvering around them. Restaurant on site across from registration office serves good breakfasts. We would probably stay here again. We camped at French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield Travel Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The advertising suggested more than what we actually received. Although there are many shade trees, the campsites are sort or curved pull through sites. Relatively level and hookups were good. There seemed to be a lot of full timers in the park, so it had a sort of cluttered appearance. Access from the main highway was convenient, although the area of town the park is in seems run-down. We would probably not stay here again. We camped at Bakersfield Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful park. Very clean, with nice level concrete sites and grass in between. Park is relatively new so the trees are not very mature yet, but eventually will provide shade. Staff was helpful and friendly. Access from I5 was easy and the entry is gated. Lovely walking trail along the river. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.
