Double Dice RV Park, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Been on road since April; needed a place to stop over a couple nights to rest; picked this one because of Good Sam. Was a bad move. The sites are very narrow and the pet policy is unreal (we have two small Yorky's). Full of long time workers and lot's of kid's: noisy park. They do serve a continental breakfast. Would not recommend this park or stay here again. We camped at Double Dice RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crater Lake RV Park (AKA Prospect RV Park), Prospect, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Staff is very friendly and help you anyway they can. We enjoyed our stay and would differently recommend this park to anyone visiting Crater Lake. No AT&T cell service in park but 1/2 mile down road ok. Big Rig friendly although some sites a little tight. We camped at Crater Lake RV Park (AKA Prospect RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Hat Creek Resort & RV, Old Station, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is an over rated and over priced RV Park; it is not a Resort. Sites are very had to get into for Big Rigs; 30 amp service is marginal; electric lines are hung from tree to tree; sewer drains slowly and we had an unsanitary connection; just pushed sewer hose into pipe and tied it with a string provided by the park. Roads are very dusty and poorly maintained. The only thing going for this park is "Hat Creek" which was pretty and trout fishing appeared to be good, I did not fish. No AT&T cell phone service and Wi-Fi didn't work on my site. We camped at Hat Creek Resort & RV in a Motorhome.
