This is really two facilities. The Campground and the Resort. We stayed at the Resort part with slightly improved facilities. A private pool and spa, larger sites and more space. The campground part is more normal for RVers and good in itself. Utilities solid and reliable. Water pressure 80+ lbs; regulator recommended. Excellent, fast, reliable WI-FI. Cable with wide selection of channels and satellite friendly. Convenient to both Arches NP and Canyon Lands NP. Got rained in and couldn't see parks. Will have to come back. Enjoyed our stay.

Date of Stay:

Was only going to stay overnight. Park was so comfortable and owner so friendly we stayed 3 days. Utilities good and stable. Good Cable TV and a limited number of satellite friendly sites. Plus $1/day for cable for over 100 channels in analog and digital. Good, strong, fast reliable WI-FI. In town and close to local attractions including the National Fossil park. Really comfortable place for either a stay or overnight. Will stay here again if in the area.

Very nice, remote facility. Located on the lake, <100 yds). In the woods. No cable or satellite reception and WI-FI not available at the sites. Telephone service is iffy. WI-FI available about 5 minutes by car at the Park Retail support facility near the restaurants. Made two trips a day to upload emails and download data. Wooded and peaceful and remote. Centrally located to access both Teton National Park attractions and Yellowstone, as well. Enjoyed our time there greatly.

Date of Stay:

Nice, but a bit tight. Right in the middle of town and convenient to all the local attractions. Solid utilities and reliable WI-FI. Good cell service. Some satellite friendly sites available. Extensive cable. Nice store up front. Worth visiting again if in the area. Solid utilities - mostly quiet environment.

Right off the highway at intersection of I80 and I25. Easy in and easy out. Nice campground with good facilities. Back section satellite friendly, is a little more open than the front. Lots of overnight occupancy in the front pull throughs. Back area is away from the traffic and very quiet. Nice large laundry. Utilities stable. Good reliable WI-FI. Would stay again for over-nighter or longer to relax.

A very nice campground in a remote area. It is only minutes from the Custer Battlefield at Little Big Horn, but very little beyond that. The campground is terraced so everyone gets a good view of the countryside around the park. All sites are satellite friendly. Utilities are good and stable. Laundry is reasonable and clean. We would stay here again if in the area or passing through. Stayed 2 extra days because of the nice, peaceful environment.

Most of what previous raters said is correct. This is a very new park and the landscaping is immature. However, I did have a grassy site in spite of the previous observations. Dog park is excellent even for medium to large dogs. This is by itself outstanding. Now on the down side. The Wi-Fi is worthless and it is important to me as I work on the road. Also, there are only 4 washing machines and 4 dryers for a park that has over 200 slots. This can, and does, cause problems for those that don't have their own. This park likely assumed that, being a high end park with a high percentage of high end rigs, that they don't need more machines. For me, it's important. This could easily be a 10 rating but for the above limitations. We would stay here again. It is well run and convenient to all or most of the attractions around.

This is a typical KOA - dated and aging. It was adequate for an "over-nighter" but would not meet our requirements for a "destination." As noted in previous reviews the proximity of the "feed Lot" is significant to this park's acceptability. If you are "down wind" you are accutely aware of its presence. Otherwise the park is acceptable. Wi-Fi acceptable, water acceptable, electric a bit more problematic. The power dipped quite a bit during peak demand and the power posts were badly worn. I was concerned that the connection was too worn for safety but it did hold out for our visit. Site was barely long enough to accomodate us connected but did. This park has a significant permanent and long term presense. It badly needs sprucing up, updating and maintenance. I would avoid this park in the future. I just got the feeling that everything worked, but just barely.

Everything stated prior to this is correct. A very nice park; very comfortable and well maintained. A family owned business with a committed and responsible staff. Cell service good, satellite service very iffy. We did without for our 5 day stay. Conveniently located to several national and state parks and sites. We really enjoyed ourselves here and would stay here again if in the area. Water and electric stable and reliable. WI-FI good and reliable.

This was intended to be an "over-nighter." It was such a nice, comfortable place, we stayed 3 days. This park is located at the very top of the Raton Pass at the border between New Mexico and Colorado. The views are spectacular!! Very nice family owned facility, if somewhat small. Lots of room between sites and good power. Water pressure is a bit low, but still adequate. Sites are gravel and level. No need to disconnect if you are just staying over-night. WIFI was good and reliable. A great place to just chill and decompress from the pressures of the road.

Stopped here for an "over-night" in route north on I25. This is a VERY nice facility. It is very new and the facilities reflect it. Everything is new and clean and in good shape. Most of the foliage is immature for the same reason. The pull-thru's, while a bit close together, are long (70+ feet), level and easily accessible. No need to disconnect for an overnight. The dog walking area is nice and large enough to accommodate larger dogs if necessary. This is pleasant for us as out 40 pound Aussie seldom fits in the normal TINY dog areas. Staff was pleasant and helpful. While it is a few miles off I25, it is worth the detour for nice comfortable settings. We will stay here again if in the area.

This is my 3rd stay at Sunny Acres in the last 3 years. I stay a month or more while working in the area. I have reviewed this RV Park before and all of my previous comments remain the same. This is a nice park with nice people and fine facilities. Here is where I differ from previous reviews. The "Traffic Nazi" takes great pleasure in correcting any minor infraction of the 5mph speed limit in the park, but refuses to abide by her own rules in her golf cart. She is surly and, frankly, a person to be avoided if possible. I did so as much as possible during my stay. Assuming I can avoid her in the future, I will stay here again. Rate is based on monthly stay, plus metered electricity.

Date of Stay:

We didn't actually stay here. We inquired about the facility and did a self-tour of the park as a potential site for our "shake-down" cruise with a new rig. The park actually looks pretty good. The grounds appear to be reasonably maintained and the main facility is clean, up to date, and well maintained. The reason for this review is their billing practices. They charge $5/day (variable) extra for 50-amp service for all daily, weekly, and monthly rentals. The $5 extra on the daily rate is consistent with industry standards so that the park may offset the potential extra power demands of a 50-amp rig on an overnight stay. I have no problems with that. What I do have problems with is that the park still meters and charges for electricity use on top of the $5/day charge. This is a double-tap on the consumer that I am not willing to accept or pay. I have options and will not patronize this park even though is looks like a nice place, and it is convenient to us. Unfortunate. Nightly rate is for a 50-amp premium lot, summer rate.

Date of Stay:

Staying here for about 5 weeks early summer. It's hot, but I have a well shaded site that mitigates the summer heat. Park is immaculate and service is excellent. Lots are BIG, 40 x 60+, level and utilities well located. Wi-Fi is good and reliable, at least from my site. That is important because I'm here on business and working long days. And working more at night. Park is 55 limited and quiet. Other campers in the park are genuinely friendly and always say Hi or wave. Laundry, showers and bathrooms large, well appointed and always clean. Will stay here again if in the area.

We've been coming here once or twice every year for 6 years. It is still as nice as ever in terms of facilities, service, and atmosphere. They have instituted a reservation policy so beware. If you don't have a reservation you might have to jump sites in the middle of a stay. We were here early in the year, and the CG was not crowded, but some other campers had to move in the middle of their stay.
