Lower Lehman Creek Campground (NPS Campground), Great Basin National Park, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $6.00

Actually we stayed at Baker Creek Campground. Lovely spot, great views but had to take a very dusty road to get here. Large sites, good hikes. We camped at Lower Lehman Creek Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Capri Court Campground, Houma, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after the office closed and while they left us a note telling us which site to go to...they didn't tell us a price! We are guessing it's was $25-30. We asked a tenant what the Wi-Fi code was. It's a pretty spot but the trailer park in the front isn't. Not much choice here in Houma. We camped at Capri Court Campground in a Motorhome.

Dellanera RV Park , Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed our 2 nights here. So good to see the place up and running. 2 years ago there was only the sign left. Management seemed poor and confused, but they had only been open 2 weeks. Great to camp right on the beach. We camped at Dellanera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Isla Blanca Park, South Padre Island, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We got the last available site! Most are rented for 6 months. People have added their own decks, patios, trees. It's more of a seasonal park than one for visitors. Not very quiet on a weekend night. Someone was using a skill saw at 9:45 and our neighbor had his music playing until 12:45. Our site didn't have any grass: just sandy dirt. Made it hard to keep the rig clean. It was a very long walk to the beach: 18 minutes. Seemed longer in the heat. We could walk to the main gate in 8 minutes and get the free bus all over the island and to Port Isabel. That was great! Wi-Fi was available but pricey: about $20/week. We camped at Isla Blanca Park in a Motorhome.

OK for a night. We enjoyed the pool. Building was old, but the water was great! Little shade in the area where we were. Unable to get a phone signal at our site. Very quiet. We camped at Four Seasons Mobile Home & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
