7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is near the Little Big Horn. So far it's our favorite commercial campground, primarily for the views. It's laid out on a hillside, with terraced sites overlooking the plains, and the mountains in the background. We'll be back sometime because it's very pleasant there and we want to spend more time at the memorial. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park, Cardwell, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very beautiful location. We stayed in a pull through site with electricity. The price is cheaper without electricity and for Montana residents. There is drinking water near the dump station for filling water tanks. AT&T works well for tendering here. We camped at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park in a Motorhome.

Bear Canyon Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Conveniently close to the Interstate. Friendly management, and attractive setting. The sites are a bit narrow; the picnic table is too close to the neighbor's sewer. Wi-Fi worked well, but you had to keep logging in. Not sure why they require a login since there are no other houses nearby. They have Ben & Jerry ice cream for sale at the office. We camped at Bear Canyon Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp Creek State Park, Camp Creek, West Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff! The RV campsite where we spent the night was very open, while the tent campground was wooded and the sites were more private. Would certainly return. We camped at Camp Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Carter Caves State Resort Park, Olive Hill, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. We were only able to spend one night, so want to return for a longer visit. Good site, but water and electricity were a long way from the pad. The site was listed as level, but was not. The rate reflects a reservation fee. We camped at Carter Caves State Resort Park in a Motorhome.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Very pleasant location right by a large city park and bike way. The town of St. Charles is about a mile and a half away, an easy walk or bike ride. Very pleasant people in the office. Sites are flat and concrete but there is no shade. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Motorhome.
