Atlanta South RV Resort , Mcdonough, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are within 10 foot either side of camper, roads are rough, cypher lock on bathhouse/latrine does not work or wrong code from staff. Staff friendly but I will not stay here again, may be OK for an overnight stop but nothing else. Power dropped several times so be sure to have a surge protector on your camper, also, make sure you have a water filter. Bottom line, only in an emergency would I recommend this campground, as it is very definitely NOT a resort. We camped at Atlanta South RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, Whispering Pines, lower campground, is big rig friendly, only drawback is no sewer hookups and cell coverage is terrible otherwise rate would be all 10. We camped at Douthat State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Mill Creek from Jun 28 to July 5 2011. This is a VERY LARGE CG, over 1,000 sites, close to Mackinaw City with transportation to Mackinaw Island. The town and Island are tourist oriented, beware of HUGE crowds during the summer. The park itself leaves much to be desired, if I were the owner I would half the number of back in sites and make them pull-throughs, but there would still not be adequate space at each site. I could have touched the slide of the site next to me while standing on my steps, well maybe not quite that close but there is very little "free" area between sites. The parking is terrible, if the park had to vacate due to an emergency it would be a nightmare, fortunately for us there was one site across from us that was vacant or I would not have been able to depart until the camper moved his truck. Don't get me wrong, if you just want to visit a couple days and do the tourist thing, OK, but be aware there is not much to each site. Also, everyone seems to want to light a fire and with the sites so close together the smoke is stiffing, as one fellow put it "camping here is like sitting in a parking lot on fire". We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Greenwood Acres Family Campground, Jackson, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We used our CampUSA and saved 50%, full hook-up, pull through site. This is a large campground, lots of seasonal campers but plenty of room for short stay folks. We will be staying here on our return to Alabama from Mackinaw City. We camped at Greenwood Acres Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Spent 3 nights in a 31 foot TT. The roads are rough, but it keeps traffic slow!! Friendly folks at the office. Has honey wagon services M/W/F at no charge. Nice place to stay and visit the falls. I would stay again but don't intend to visit NY again in the future. We camped at Niagara County Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Detroit Greenfield RV Park, Ypsilanti, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park has many sites, but, they are very close together. Getting our 31 foot TT in, was exciting to say the least. There are some larger sites available but I believe are reserved for those NOT using a Good Sam discount or other discount. Not real satisfied with the park, roads are dirt, many ruts, however alright for an overnight. Close to Henry Ford Museum. I will not visit this CG again. We camped at Detroit Greenfield RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
