This is a well planned newer park. We had no trouble getting around with our 43 foot motor home. We were greeted very warmly by the former "full-time RVer" owners. The rate reflects the Passport America discount (actually $17.50) and, according to the owners is now good for any length of time. The park itself is well maintained and very clean. We plan to stay longer the next time we are in the area.

This park has great potential: unfortunately it's not a priority for the owner. The one employee that we saw works very hard at everything: mows the lawns, tends the office, a regular "Jack of all Trades." He was very pleasant and helpful. We pulled in just after dark and the office was closed. There are no directions posted to where we were to park or if we could park. We talked with a couple of campers and they said to take anything. They also suggested that we check the power at a site before we setup because several didn't work. Just what we wanted to hear after driving 9 hours! Just a note about the Williamsburg Pottery Factory: don't bother! 20 years ago it was a must visit, not any more.

Truly a family resort. Lots to do for everyone. We stayed as Coast to Coast members at $15 a night plus $3 resort fee. I guess the membership doesn't afford us sewer sites, but we got by just fine. We would have upgraded to sewer had we known that was possible. The office staff was very professional and helpful. They have someone visit each site as it becomes vacant to make sure it is neat and clean. We would stay here again.

First of all let me say that the people who worked in the office were very nice and helpful. That being said, I'd have to say that this was not an overall good camping experience. We had reserved a sewer site, but they didn't have any available. The 30 amp electric was extremely weak. Even with everything else off we couldn't run the microwave to warm our coffee. The mosquitoes were the absolute worst. They'll eat you alive. We stayed here as Coast to Coast members, hence the $10 rate. Great people - pathetic campground.

This is a very nice facility, but is a bit tight for a 40+' motor home. The site we were on was a little hard to level on. We like camping here, but probably won't camp there again because we believe that they are pricing themselves out of our market. We are just looking for a nice place to stay a few nights. $53 in this area is just too high.

There are 163 sites in the campground and 24 in the overflow section. 110 sites have Electric and Water. 45 of those also have a Sewer Hookup. The rates are $18 and $20 for No Hook-up sites, $22 for Electric and Water sites, and $24 for Electric/Water/Sewer. If you have a Golden Age or Golden Access Passport, the above fees will be cut by 50%. The sites are very large and all hookup sites are paved. We just started our 7th year of full-timing and this park is near the top of our Top 10 list!
