Date of Stay:

Beautiful state park on Lake Ontario. The sites are beautiful and it is a peaceful CG. We had a secluded site with a view of the lake. Access is easy from the highway and is very pet friendly. You will need proof of rabies vaccinations, however. Would stay here again anytime.

Stayed here while visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. Usually love the Jellystone CG's. However, this one is not on par. The lake is poorly maintained and very unappealing with the amount of debris in it. We were surprised at how many permanent campers there were. The trash pick up at your site is great, but if you don't want to sit at the arcade, you will not be able to use the Wi-Fi. The staff was a mixed group. Some nice and some indifferent. Will skip this CG the next time around.

Date of Stay:

This was our first trip in our new-to-us Class C. The staff was very friendly and seemed to really try to keep things neat and clean. However, the sites are very small and there are several permanent trailers in need of serious repair scattered around the CG. There is a train that runs beside the CG, but we were not too bothered by that. The pool was not opened but looked so nasty that they are going to have a heck of a job cleaning it out. I would be careful about letting my kids play in that one. The pictures on their website is deceiving. The CG is not as large as it appears or as pretty. When we arrived we did not have neighbors on either side. However, over the next day, a large Class A and another Class C pulled in on both side and it became quite tight. Our awning almost touched our neighbors slideout and his sewer hose came right up to our awning mat. Sorry to say, we will not stay here again. The service was good but this CG leaves alot to be desired.
