This is mostly a blacktop parking lot with a few grass strip areas but not the type of park that I dislike. Utilities worked well but the sewer inlet was a little higher than it should have been. But it did work. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Easy communications. Good location for seeing Milwaukee and the surrounding area. Very easy access to park and easy navigation inside park. There was a picnic table on each site. The laundry area had six washer and six dryers and were reasonably price. The park wifi worked exceptionally well. Sites were fairly level.

The rate listed was based on a weekly rate. This is a very pretty campground. It is located up on a hill directly behind the motel, but the motel is not very visible from the campground because of the trees. The campground is level and very little leveling is needed on the site. We are on site 14 with trees on both sides and the south sky is open so our front roof mounted satellite dish worked well. Verizon cell works well. There is a picnic table and fire ring on each site. The laundry facility is clean and located in the motel with newer machines and is very reasonable. The utilities are grouped together in landscaped area and easily accessible. If in the area we would definitely stay here again.

This is a very tight campground with a 39' motorhome but I didn't really have any problem getting in or navigating the park. We were on site 9 and it fit our motorhome well and satellite reception with a front roof mounted dish also worked well. Verizon cell reception was good. I did look into the shower facilities and they couldn't pay me to use it. We always use our own shower. The interstate was on the other side of the golf course but the noise wasn't objectionable. The golf course is no longer owned by the campground owners. The way the dump is situated I had to back up a short steep hill to use it but again I didn't have a problem. The view of the little creek, pond and golf course was nice. The view the other way with the barn foundation and a junk trailer parked in it wasn't good. If we are in the area we will stay in this park again if still open.

The rate I listed was based on a weekly rate. Our site was in the rear out in the open but it worked well for us with the satellite dish on the roof. Our only complaint was the layout of the roadway. Our site was a pull through angled to turn left on departure. If you went that way there wasn't any return road to take you out of the park. Luckily there wasn't anybody across from us so I could go through that site with the toad connected and exit the park.

The daily rate above was for a week. $95 a week. This was the best deal I have had in years. We are on lot 42, a grass lot, beside the bathhouse and it is the only lot here that is this rate with full utilities including 50 amp service. It is deep enough for our 40' motorhome and twice as wide as some RV parks. The view out the side and front is Lake Sunday. There are 5 concrete parking pads across from us and the daily rate is $35. After a couple days it has been quiet. We are using this as a base to see water falls in the area. Verizon signal is a little weak but works. Park wifi on this site is fantastic. The wifi antenna is mounted on the bathhouse roof. There is a lake beach area in the park. Looked at the bathhouse and it did look dated but functional. Satellite for DirecTV worked great. We would definitely stay here again especially on this lot.

The RV parking sites are blacktop extending off the casino parking lot. We were on site 10 and it was level. Except for casino, restaurant and hotel traffic in the lot it was quiet. Every day they will give you a guest package good for $5 gambling and a free drink. Pretty good deal when it is only $20 a night to stay. After some rain sites 1 thru 4 had some standing water. Verizon and DirecTV worked well. Each site had its own trash receptacle. We stayed for 12 days. They don't take reservations but the 12 spaces never filled. We would definitely stay here again.

The park roads are dirt and gravel, well maintained and watered to keep the dust down. The site was graded dirt and gravel for parking and grass that is having a hard time surviving. The perimeter lots have electric and water and the interior lots are electric only. There is one dump site. If there are showers or restrooms they are not close by. There are porta-johns on site at this time. There campground closes August 3 for a couple weeks during fair time. Nothing to do in the park but excellent location for tourists. We would stay here again when in this area. Tough to beat the price. Our site was 94 and did have shade in the morning but still worked well for DirecTV. Verizon worked well for phone and internet.

We would have given this park a better overall rating but the roads were dirt and not well maintained. Lots of holes and ruts and when it rained they became mud. Sites were sparse grass and very hard to determine your lot lines. After the weekend most people left and they put another camper right next to us with lots of campfire smoke when they could have put them much farther away. 30 amp electric and water only. Most sites do not have sewer. Showers and bathrooms were in good repair and clean. Only one dump site for a very large park.

The nightly rate is weekly rate. As others have said the road into the park is not paved. Unfortunately it belongs to the county and they won't pave it because of the trucking business along said road. But the campground does go out on that road with their grader to keep it in as good a condition as they can. They also do a good job of grading their park roads that also are not paved. Most sites do not have sewer. Only 30 amps was available but I can live with that if I have to. Our site was just grass but was open for satellite reception. Lots of activities for guests. Dump stations worked well. They do offer black/gray draining for a small fee.

Rockwood has a great location for access to St. John and the surrounding area. The campground is located in Rockwood City Park. The main campground location where we stayed was very level and nicely graveled. Only drawback was water tended to pool after heavy rain but not muddy. No problem for DirecTV reception. Only found one TV station over the air. Cost wise this is one of the best deals in New Brunswick. Attendant at check in booth was very friendly and helpful. We used this as our hub for Sussex, St Martins and the Kingston Peninsula. We stayed here for two weeks and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay. We had the best site with clear view across the lake to the Bay of Fundy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and serene. The Wi-Fi worked very well. 30 and 50 amp services available. The sites and roads could have used more gravel. We would definitely stay here again.

This is still a park under construction. Most of the site construction is complete along with the laundry/bath house, minigolf and waterpark/swimming pool. I believe they were constructing an office/snack bar when we were there. All sites and roads were gravel. There were small grass areas between the sites along with new trees. Sites were quite adequate. Utilities were well placed. Laundry was clean with newer machines. There was a trash can on each site and was picked up daily. Reception was not a problem for DirecTV. Our only negative was the office was staffed with teenagers who were unable to answer simple questions.

We were going to stay for one day and stayed for a week. Loved waking up in the morning and looking out the front window at the ducks and geese on the pond. The owners were great to talk to with much information on the area and knew all the good restaurants. Showers worked well. Laundry machines were spotlessly clean but there was only one washer and one dryer. No cable TV but if you don't have an antennae they have them installed at the sites. The rate was Passport America. Whenever we are in the area again we will definitely stay at Cain's Creekside RV Park.

Rate is weekly rate plus tax. We are staying here for 2 weeks. The park is quiet and seems quite secure. Each vehicle gets a remote to operate the gated entrance. Most of the sites are seasonal but there are a couple sites available. Everybody we have met is quite friendly. Sat at the river yesterday and watched several eagles fishing. We are about 50 feet from railroad tracks but have not seen any train since we got here 5 days ago. Paved rail/trail is beside the tracks. Owner is very friendly and helpful. If space is available here when we are in the area we will stay here again.

This campground is a field with pavilions and a pond behind the Shriners main building. The sites on the right side had water-50A electric-sewer and the left side had water-30A electric and no sewer. There are 4 sewer dumps along the entrance road. Our site was too short for our 40' motor home so we parked sideways across the site. No cable tv but the reception on the antennae was extremely good. No problem for DirecTV. There were showers and restrooms but we did not use them. Not far from Interstate highway but noise was negligible. Great place for a good nights sleep. Easy access to Macon. Our rate was Passport America. Will definitely stay here again.
