Jamestown Campground, Jamestown, North Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

As stated by others, the park is fine. But the washboard entrance is 1 mile of frontage road that the poor owners were told would be paved 6 years ago and does not appear to be happening. We had to go really slooooww down this portion so as to not shake the fillings out of our teeth, We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Newer park so small trees. We were in a 40' MH towing and had asked for a pull through. When we arrived we were given a back-in with the explanation that the pull-thru sites were all gone; therefore we had to unhook for the night. Then we walked around and discovered there were at least 2 empty pull-thru sites and another that had a small truck & pop-up camper which we thought was ridiculous when larger rigs needed sites like that. Staff was friendly but we were only stopping for a night so did not use facilities. Site was level. As an over night we would probably return. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Sky Camp and RV Park, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Park is fairly run down. We did a water-sewer only site as this was just an overnight stop but even the FHU sites did not look better. Owners were friendly. It's OK for a one night stop as is close to I-94. Sites are long but landscaping is basically nil. We camped at Big Sky Camp and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gallatin County Fairgrounds, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

RV parks in town were booked due to returning college students/parents. This was the only game in town it seemed, so we were stuck. Sites were extremely close and back-in only. Our view was the dumpster in the parking lot. Even though it seemed we were on a side street, lots of truck noise starting early in the morning plus loud trains all night long. No 30 amp (50 amp only) - had to loan another RV our conversion plug one night, so as to not suffer from loud generator noise. Sewer connection was raised and hard to drain. Only good thing was park was fairly centrally located. Would return only if had to. We camped at Gallatin County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived in our 40' MH and was told the spot they had assigned us was not large enough; luckily they could find a larger site. However, there were no trees on this spot and the cable TV was extremely fuzzy with a "fffffttt" static noise. Went to office and was told someone would come over; after an hour we called as nobody had shown. We were told site E9 was "iffy" but there was nothing they would do for us. Spot next door had their own satellite so we asked if we could hook to their cable; got rid of the static noise and part of the "snow" went away so we could watch some TV even though it was bad. Park was full and management really didn't care enough to address our problem. We won't go back. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Olive Street RV Resort, Vista, California

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Paid for a week and left a day early - only stayed that long as we had plans with friends in the San Diego area. Sites are OK in size, but we had a choice of a pull-thru or back-in and were convinced to do the back-in as it would be quieter. NOT!! Just on the other side of the park wall live very noisy people with barking dogs and loud voices plus it looks like a shanty town with laundry hanging all over their back patios. Cable service was awful - tried to talk to office and they wanted to blame it on our TV's, but both TV's were having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM?? We finally put up our antenna and got the local channels that way so we could watch news and sports. Would not stay here again. We camped at Olive Street RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Casey's Riverside RV Park, Westfir, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects final cost including tax which we were informed had increased when we arrived so we had to pay more than expected on our balance. We have stayed here several times before and while the view of the river is still fabulous, it appears the park is not being kept up to the same standards. The picnic tables were in bad shape and we did use ours due to that. Upon check-in the same friendly staff was not in evidence from reservation made on phone and previous visits. Staff couldn't even give info about things like fishing and much of the town info on their park map was inaccurate. In addition, they advertise they have cable TV and that is a total joke as you get 15 channels and not even regular NBC is available! Made the reservation months ago with no refunds so we finished our stay, but not sure we will return after this visit. We camped at Casey's Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Toad Suck Campground COE, Conway, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Thought the name was a hoot! The weather was awful - pouring down rain which diminished our experience here. Otherwise our site faced the river and it was a nice area. Sites all seem to be slanted so leveling was a challenge. We would probably come back in better weather. Typical COE park - well maintained. Rate was for Golden Age Pass. We camped at Toad Suck Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Rate was for Camp Club USA. We were a tad worried as we drove through the neighborhood to get to this park, but it turned out to be a nice experience. The people were very friendly and we even got free coffee and donuts the next morning. If going through Amarillo again we would stay here. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Park is old and run down and check-in staff was not the most welcoming. Park is 1-1/2 blocks from Graceland (we were shocked at the area of town it was in - quite run down). We asked for phone # to Graceland and lady at desk looked at us like we were nuts. So we asked for a phone book and if there were any brochures (got those). But since the park is so close to Graceland we thought they would have lots of visitors inquiring about it and would be able to give information about it. Would not stay here again. We camped at Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cabela's RV Park & Campground, Sidney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We were meeting friends going east - we were headed north and this was the best town to meet. I was worried about what this CG would be like and was very pleasantly surprised. Sites were large and nice. Even though it was near I-80 you could hardly hear the noise. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Price for what you get is great - wish we knew there were electric only sites for $17.50 as we could have done that and saved even a little more on rates. We camped at Cabela's RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Colorado Heights Camping Resort, Monument, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here under Coast to Coast for 2 weeks, hence the $10 rate. Site are ok, but could use a little work - it was hard to get our 40' MH level in our pull thru site. We decided to stay in the non-50 amp section as it was up a hill and all gravel with no trees. Wi-fi was spotty - used our Verizon instead. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again unless they drop Coast to Coast like were told they may do. We camped at Colorado Heights Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Alpine Trails RV Park, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here under Passport to save some money - not worth it. Although the people are very friendly, there is no atmosphere and the place is totally overgrown with weeds. This park needs some serious upkeep. We camped at Alpine Trails RV Park in a Motorhome.
