Camping Alouette, St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Great park with nice easy check-in. Wi-Fi is an extra $4 per day. They also have a big covered RV wash for $2 for 4 minutes, pay for vacuum and air is free. Very nice and easy to use! Plenty of room to maneuver. Haven't seen this in too many places. Also, bathrooms are better than most homes! Also, RV sales and supply store next door. Easy on and off of Hwy 20. Spaces are nice size and you don't feel crowded. If they had cable TV I would give them a 10. Would stay here again. We camped at Camping Alouette in a Fifth Wheel.

Newport Campground, Crawfordville, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a county run campground. The place is getting much better(new grass and leveling of the sites) They do have wifi but you need to be close to the hosts camper. They have reduced their price for camping. Once the bathrooms are done, hopefully next year, it will be a nice stopping off point for traveling on HWY 98. The host is very nice and will help you if needed. We camped at Newport Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Only our second stay at a KOA. This is a very nice campground with very nice bathrooms and showers. Best I have ever seen!! A little pricey for me but this is a nice place. Sites are all pull through and plenty large enough for all your slides and awning. We would stay here again!! We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Leaf Verde RV Resort, Buckeye, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate was monthly including electric. What a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice dog run! Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again! The water is not to good for drinking but they have a machine for 25 cents for a gallon. So no big deal as most people don't drink campground water. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

It did get new owners and what a GREAT job they have done on this campground. What a nice campground. This place is as clean as it comes. Paved roads, concrete to park the 5th wheel on, and grass. Great cable TV and fast internet. We would stay here again. Located just off I-5 so if you need a place, make sure you stop here. We camped at Tri City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park and owner. Sites are pretty level, and yes the sewer is far back so you need an extension, but no problem. Plan for it! We like this park and the Wi-Fi and cable TV work fine. We recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It is very convenient to Tillamook and the coast. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mounthaven Resort, Ashford, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park! The trees are fantastic and the sites were perfect for sitting out. The owners and host were very helpful and nice. Go there knowing you won't have cell phone service and no TV. We should all do without those items every once in a while. Get a nice book, sit out under the trees and enjoy! There is Wi-Fi at the office area that works very well. Just a short ride to Mt. Rainier and some of the most wonderful scenery. We recommend this place. Have fun!! We camped at Mounthaven Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wild Rose RV Park, Hope, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I could have rated this park lower but because of the nice facilities I didn't. The first 9 pull through sites are nice but because of the neighbors refrigeration trucks running 24/7 are not very desirable. They kick on and off all day long. The noise didn't bother us to much, we stayed in one of the 9, but if you don't like noise make sure you get a spot towards the back. The noise is blocked by some very beautiful trees. The noise from the trains could also make some people unhappy. The Wi-Fi, cable TV is very good and the restrooms are nice and clean. Just beware of the refrigeration truck noise. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mat Su Rv Park, Willow, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The price of $31.50 per day is Good Sams rate for full hookup. The restrooms are some of the best we have seen before as is the laundry room. Very relaxing and convenient stop over before going to Denali. Only 22 miles from Talkeetna, a small little tourist town where Mt. McKinley climbers prepare for their trip. The owner is very nice and the park is more spacious than others we have stayed at. We would stay here again. We camped at Mat Su Rv Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Iceworm RV Park, Wasilla, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park is 90% full with long term residents, who appear to have been there for awhile. There are maybe 3 sites that would be available to rent. Not for a big rig. We did not end up staying at the park but did meet a tenant who was very nice to us and said we would probably be happier on the other side of town. It is located out of town and the location is not the best. We camped at Iceworm RV Park in a Motorhome.
