Easy to find right off SR 207 heading to St. Augustine City. On the left right behind a Dollar General store at a traffic light for easy turning in and getting out again. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The owner showed us to our site, pointed out the hookups, and was very helpful. We had no shade (by request for satellite usage), but the pull thru site was level gravel. All utilities worked fine. There is a nice laundry with even a designated washer for pet beds and blankets. Very nice as I have never seen that before. Large fenced pet run so your large furry family member can run off some of that steam from traveling. Several sites had cement patios, plantings, and one looked like it had a cement slab. Lots of changes and improvements seem to be coming.

Easy to find and easy in and out. Paved inner roads. Pull Thru was FHU with level concrete pad with patio. Wide and long enough for our 40' motorcoach with a tow and two slides. Mature trees and shrubbery between spacious sites for privacy. Patio area with picnic table. Nice areas to walk dogs. No litter, trash or dog waste. Nice responsible pet owners who pick up. Pond with fountain and catch and release. Great way to unwind from a day on the road or from sightseeing/eating/shopping in St. Marys. Loved the free range chickens and had no problems with crowing that others have mentioned. Maybe our rig is better insulated. We heard there is a great pot luck on the weekends and card games during the week for those who love to meet others and swap stories. Whether you like that, or you just want to chill out, the campground is wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. You won't regret giving them a call and staying here. We will be back again.

Very busy campground with easy access from I-20 & I-26. Many pull thru sites of grass and gravel. Mostly level sites. Behind a large Flea Market so weekends are probably hopping. Utilities were fair: power kept dropping below 110 which was a concern. While difficult to police, would have given a better rating if there hadn't been dog waste around our site, even though they provide baggies and receptacles. Cannot understand people who don't pick up. Feel sorry for the dog as you wonder what other ways their owner is irresponsible. We were only here for a short overnight and wouldn't stay longer.

Very nice check in process - well organized, knowledgeable, informative staff. Taken to site and assisted in backing in. Sites are not very long and everyone has to park extra vehicle across the front of your site. It gets a bit tight when sites are full. Sites are both shaded and unshaded and close together like so many commercial parks. It looked like there were nice sites along the creek (Premium) that might have more privacy in the back. It was busy and crowded. Gravel with picnic table, pretty level, utilities worked well - water pressure is high so be careful of your connections. Lots of rules which not everyone paid attention to. Laundry was too busy to be able to use on the weekend so I can't comment on that - except that having more machines or all machines in working order would be helpful. Wi-Fi was strong and fast. Lots of cable TV stations, but it was "noisy". Satellite was better. Several dumpsters around so you didn't have to walk too far. We would come back for a night or two.

Very convenient park with lovely views. Easy in and out for big rigs. FHU with cable TV. Wi-Fi is a joke so if you need it for connecting with work or family you will be disappointed. Laundry was very clean, but a bit pricy from other campgrounds. Lots of space to walk your dog and a dog pen. Would be nice if people would pick up after their pet. This is an ongoing problem in parks. If you aren't willing to pick up then don't have a dog. It's that simple. In spite of a $15 fine for not doing so, we had several instances where we had to wash off our shoes: not pleasant. Of course, you have to catch the violators. Picnic table at site, 2 pools, playground, community center, lots of activities if you want to join them. Or you can just relax at your site or the indoor adults only pool.

While the entrance is a bit short and cramped with the office right there, once you are registered and inside a ways it is very easy to maneuver and unhook. We had a back in site which was ample for a 40' with toad. Nice areas to walk dogs. It seems that most people pick up keeping the campground clean. The worst area for non-compliance was the fenced dog pen. Limited number of pull thru sites but easy back in sites. We were in a very shaded site between two large trees. FHU with Cable TV & Wi-Fi...no problems connecting and getting email. Nice views and beautiful sunset. Very well kept grounds and facilities. You can tell the owners and staff care about their campground. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most relaxing stay. We have camped here before for just an overnight and want to come back and spend more time in this charming area.

Very nice owners. Older campground right by the river...tenting mostly near the river itself. RV sites are mostly back up with a lot of permanents or seasonal folks. Pretty tight quarters. One of the seasonal folk's off leash dog came out after ours. Pool, playground, volley ball set up for kids. Game room that was very busy with various ages. Didn't use the restrooms or showers. A bit of a trip from the interstate and the country roads can be a challenge in a large motorhome. We are 40' with a toad.

Great campground if you are in the area. Office closed on Sundays - we weren't told that when we called for reservations and almost left when we saw it was closed. One of the residents said to call which we did to get checked in. Not for travelers off I-95 - Callahan is a ways away from the interstate. Very good value for a night...FHU with great Wi-Fi in our location. Not sure if it is as good throughout the park. Picked it because of the review stating there was a dog run. We were told there wasn't one when we checked in. That was a disappointment. Sights are tight and close together. Got slides out and might have gotten large awning, but didn't try.

Date of Stay:

Very friendly staff. Right off I-95. Check-in fast and efficient. Led to the Pull Thru site by staff. Level sand. Wi-Fi non-existent. Long walk to dumpsters. Lots of kids/families - lake, pool, and fishing make it a draw for summer vacationers. Good for a night or two, but not a destination - at least not for us.

Paved roads with gravel sites. Patio and table. Dog walk is a narrow strip along the back. FHU with TV and Wi-Fi. Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi or were dropped soon after connection. Hotspot for Verizon signal not good. Dumpster filled to almost overflowing. Good for an overnight, but wouldn't stay any time unless I had something in the area to draw me there. Ate at a Cracker Barrel close by.

Very nice park with paved streets and gravel sites. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Guided you to the site and helps back in. No Pull Thru that I saw. All utilities worked great. Would love to see a fenced dog area although they had nice 'dog walks' complete with baggies and waste containers. Even a dog wash. Laundry was immaculate and fair price. Didn't use the exercise room or pool, but saw several people enjoying the pool. We hope to come back.

There isn't much around Atlanta. You have to pay a one time $15 entry fee to the park so staying overnight becomes more expensive. Wi-Fi was never found by us. Cable was pretty basic. Sites are rough and not level. We had to use chocks. If you are just needing an overnight and aren't going to use the park entertainments, you might want to plan to get away from Atlanta area before you stop.

This is a great overnight stop. Good Sam rate. Guided to your site. Very basic...no pool, playground, dog run, etc. W/E/S with 50 Amp. Cable TV. Very easy on and off highway. Seem to be all Pull Thru in old Pecan orchard. Highway noise wasn't too bad. Perfect for just an overnight.

This is a very nice resort for the folks seeking quiet and relaxation. It is equestrian based, spread out, and not for small children as there are no playgrounds, pool, or activities. Quite a distance from I-75 - about 25 miles. Rate is with GS discount and off season. Lovely fenced area for your dog to run some steam off. Open sites...not much shade, but trees planted for future. Cement pad, easy to level, cement patio with table. Sprinklers come on during night and may soak anything left outside your camper. Has a lovely horse carriage museum with lots of history as well as a nice 'bistro" for a drink or a bite on property. No cable, but open for satellite and several off air stations. Not far from The Villages so lots of stores and restaurants. Good 50 amp and water pressure. Wi-Fi was fair...might be a challenge if lots of campers. Equestrian events are free to watch if you are staying here. Fifth time here to just unwind and catch our breath.

Very large park with over 400 sites. Pull through site was level concrete pad with picnic table and patio. Water and power were strong and steady. TV is satellite, thus, you lose it when there is a storm (and this is Florida where it storms a lot). Laundry had great machines and good value. $1.75 to wash and $1.00 to dry with dryers large enough to actually dry a load in one time. Streets are named on the map but not in the park...you have to go by site numbers to find your way around. Very spread out so have your walking shoes handy. Very large dog park so you could run some steam off your pup(s) after traveling all day. Depending on your site you and the dog may be exhausted by the time to walk to the dog park. Quite a way (15 miles) from I-75, but very worth the drive for a couple of nights or more. If you just need to sleep, it probably isn't for you.
