Coastal Georgia RV Resort, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Exceptional park. Very clean with manicured landscaping. Concrete pads, paved roads and a cool pool awaits. Back-ins on coastal waters offer great bass fishing! Paddle boat rentals available. Right off I-95 but quiet, had dog park and rec. room. Park is new; design and layout are outstanding, but trees are young with little shade. Pull-through sites are long and all sites are nicely spaced apart and separated with foliage. A Good Sam member park. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arrival, my landing gear failed to lower. I couldn't disconnect from my truck. The manager was friendly and came right over to assist. He brought a friend to drive me to nearby Camping World for parts. Because of the super and friendly people at this campground, I was soon repaired. The park is a nice size and very pretty in landscaping. All areas are clean and the pull through sites are perfect in size to accommodate any RV. There is a dog park, saline pool, hot tub gazebo and playground . I will definitely call this place a small slice of heaven. All in all, you won't be disappointed. I will be returning for the local history and charm. Andersonville Historic Site for civil war history is about 6 miles away. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice clean campground in a tiny depressed town with one gas station (with diesel). Right off the highway with easy on-off. Pull-through level gravel sites. Propane fill station, pool and very nice owners. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cascade Lake Recreation Area & Campground, Pisgah Forest, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is set well into the countryside away from it all. Beautifully maintained campground and heavily forested offering lots of shade. Easy to navigate gravel dirt roads meander throughout the park with sites on various elevations. Campground has two lakes and rents canoes. Many friendly workcampers around to assist and provide gate security. The park has extremely poor cell phone reception if any, no internet service unless you sit at the campground store's front porch. This campground is a Passport America member campground. We camped here for 2 weeks on the boating/fishing lake. We camped at Cascade Lake Recreation Area & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
