Alamosa KOA, Alamosa, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Typical older KOA, with dusty gravel roads. Park has easy access with escort to your site. Extra long, level pull-thrus. The back two rows have no trees and are satellite friendly. 3 1/2 miles east of center of town. We camped in a 45' motorhome with tow car. We camped at Alamosa KOA in a Motorhome.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access from I-40. Driveway is a bit steep, but no problem. Office staff was very helpful. The restaurant serves dinner from 5 to 7:15 and will deliver to your site. We however did not take advantage. Good overnight stop. We camped in a 45' motorhome with a tow car. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lubbock RV Park, Lubbock, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I was a little skeptical about booking this park because of reviews I had read describing how tight the park was. We did not find this to be an issue. We had a long, level pull-thru that was satellite friendly even though there were trees next to us. The owner was very gracious and helpful. Love's Travel Center is right next door for an easy fuel stop. We only stayed one night and will definitely stay here again. We camped in a 45' motorhome with a tow car. We camped at Lubbock RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nicely kept park with roomy spaces. There are speed limit signs posted in the park but no monitoring, and lots of speedy drivers. Lots of barking dogs!! The laundry needs to designate at least 2 washers and dryers for pets items; the washers were always full of pet hair!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rates are high. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Well maintained park with easy access from I-5. Seemed to be a lot of long-term renters. Lots of traffic noise with the freeway in such close proximity. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Motorhome.

Junction West RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained park with friendly staff. Escort to site. There seem to be a lot of long-term residents in the park. The park is situated in an industrial area and there is a lot of noise early in the morning from nearby businesses. A good stop for a few days. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Small park directly across the road from Lake Michigan. Gravel streets and sites with fairly well-kept grassy areas around the sites. We had a nice long back-in site. We camped at Village Inn on the Lake in a Motorhome.

Petoskey Motorcoach Resort (formerly Petoskey RV Resort ), Bay Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful park close to all! Very friendly and helpful staff. The sites are concrete pads with grassy areas, nicely maintained. The easy access to the paved, 25 mile+ bike/walking path was a plus! Close to Petoskey's shops and restaurants. Nice, clean laundry, but only 2 washers and 2 dryers. A great spot for at least a month! We camped at Petoskey Motorcoach Resort (formerly Petoskey RV Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Island Resort Casino RV Park, Harris, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a tight fit for 45 footers. The sites are shared, so you either pull in or back in; whoever is there first. The interior roads are tight turns and the spaces are curved. The setting is nice in the trees, but no satellite reception and our Wi-Fi signal was not good. The food at the casino was good and reasonably priced. Good for an over-nighter. We camped at Island Resort Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lansing Cottonwood Campground, Lansing, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Interior roads are very dusty. The pull-through sites are not level and are weeds and dirt. The main breaker in the pull-through area needs to be replaced. It popped numerous times in the 3 days were were there and it was very hot and humid. The maintenance people are aware they have a problem. The office staff and maintenance people were very helpful and nice. Good place to stop for a short stay. We camped at Lansing Cottonwood Campground in a Motorhome.
