Very Nice Staff. We stayed on short notice with our HDT and 45 foot 5th wheel. The staff worked hard to find a place for us. The other reviews are correct that the office / clubhouse is in the convenience store /strip mall and the storm gutters are deep. The campground was a mobile home park and seems to be transitioning into a mixed-use park. The campground roads are two lanes in width and paved, as you'd expect for a mobile home park and there are very few low branches. All the sites we saw are back-in and large. The water pressure, electric, and over the air TV are good; our Verizon internet was fair to poor. Understand that the park has Wifi, pool table and kitchen facilities at the clubhouse, but we did not visit it. There are swings for kids. The site we stayed in was loose gravel and rutted under our weight. However, there is a concrete patio and pavement partially into the site area to park on. The park is about 20 minutes from the downtown medical centers.

We have stayed many times; this is our favorite RV park on the Gulf coast. We always stay in a pull-thru with our HDT and 45 foot 5th wheel. This park hosts a lot of snowbirds that return yearly and some full time residents. Maneuvering can be a little tight when the park is full but everyone has always been friendly and helpful as needed. The management and staff have always been very accommodating and helpful. The interior roads and sites are paved. The entrance can be a little hard to find the first time. The park has a pool, clubhouse, playground and a nice little store with a propane fill station. There are a number of mature live oaks with spanish moss making for a beautiful setting. The park is surprisingly quiet at night given the major roads nearby. A Winn Dixie grocery store is a short walk as are some restaurants.

They had just added several new pull throughs. We stayed in one of them with our HDT and 45' fifth wheel. The owners are very nice. Convenient and much quieter than the other two options in town.

We love this park - we stay here every time we come to the Gulf Coast. It is conveniently located - walking distance to 2 grocery stores and several fast food places. The manager is the perfect combination of friendly and no-nonsense and keeps the campground looking nice and running well. An added perk is that we can get our HDT and 45’ fifth wheel into the pull-throughs there. The pull-throughs are good for satellite reception and the upper area of the park is full of beautiful live oaks. The other campers are friendly but not overly so and our kids love the pool. We have stayed in campgrounds all over the US and this is one of our favorites.

Well kept park with 30 A service in the country. Very quiet. The drive was a little tight for our HDT (semi) and 45 foot 5th wheel.

It is our second stay here, as it is one of the least expensive options in the area. We like the canopy covers in the TX heat. Getting into the slots was a challenge with our 65' rig.

We stayed here in our 42' fifth wheel and HDT. Park was clean but had many difficult turns due to posts at each end of every slot and new tree plantings. When those trees get bigger, we will no longer be able to maneuver in the park. Otherwise, easy to get to and pleasant stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, especially the deer and rabbit and SKUNK sightings on early morning walks. Really enjoyed the guided tour of the fort - very neat. Lots of extras around the park and very well maintained.
