Rustic Cove Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The park is new and still under construction. While the roads are concrete, they are narrow and very curvy. Pads are concrete and nice size. There are a lot of trees which makes it a bit of a challenge to maneuver. The park is small and is on a busy highway so there was no place to walk, run or bike. Did not see a pool or bath/shower houses. Several small cabins were in the center of the park. The park is located about 6 miles from Rockport and you have to drive into town for shopping or restaurants. We camped at Rustic Cove Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Serendipity Bay Resort RV Park & Marina, Palacios, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here in April and again in May. The park is very clean and the staff friendly. We liked being right on the water. It was very windy both times we were there. They have nice concrete pads with plenty of room to maneuver. The park is on the marina. We camped at Serendipity Bay Resort RV Park & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This was our first camping experience. Pecan Park was a great first experience. We had a spot next to the woods. The park was quiet and clean. The park is very family and pet friendly. It was very easy to get in and out of the park. Great area to camp in! We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Travel Trailer.
