Walkabout Camp & RV Park, Woodbine, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Just stayed overnight. Very friendly staff, nice family. Park is clean and appears well kept. Would highly recommend. I give a 9 instead of a 10 just because I wish everyone would put in a fenced area for the dog to run. But other than that, it was 5 stars all the way! We camped at Walkabout Camp & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sarasota Lakes RV Resort , Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $32.00

Park is a full time over 55 park that rents out spaces as they are available. Park is exceptionally clean & well taken care of. We stayed for a month. Swimming pool is nice. Locked gates at night...access with a card. Every spot has a patch of grass and usually a tree or some shrubbery. I really liked this place. Only reason for a 9 is because they don't have a fenced dog run. Other than that, FIVE stars!! We camped at Sarasota Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

New Life RV Park, Georgetown, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Great park! Large spots with hedges between for a little privacy & you don't have to look at hookups! VERY clean & quiet. Loved the pool & the laundry room. We stayed for several weeks. Gave it a nine - would have been a ten if there were an enclosed pet park. Actually I'd give it a 9-1/2 anyways. We camped at New Life RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Windsorland RV Park, Windsor, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00

This park IS open. We have stayed for about a month and I kind of liked it. There is a large fenced dog run. Just have to watch the steps as there is no gate. It's right next to the interstate so that's a bit loud, but the tenants were quiet. Every Thursday there is music and food vendors set up in the Town Center which is just across the street. This place makes me sad because you can see that it once was a beautiful camping site. Only about 1/4 of it is open now and you stay on an asphalt lot with some trees. There is nothing to do family-wise, but it's in a great location across from the library and the little town, and you can ride a bike about anywhere. Shopping is nearby. Beach is about 45 minutes away. Russian River is about 25. There is a sign on the road saying condos will be going up here, but I don't know when. We camped at Windsorland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
