Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Ashland, New Hampton, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

All staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Busy on the weekend which made the pool and activities very crowded. Much better after Sunday check out time. Loved the daily trash pick up service. Bathroom stalls are very small. There is a beach area on the river which is nice. But here's a hint: rent a rowboat or Kayak and row up river about 40 minutes to a large sandbar where you can swim and relax without anyone around! We took our dog in the boat, and he LOVED being off leash to run and swim. Overall, a very nice park with wonderful staff and people. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Ashland in a Tent Trailer.

Prospect Mountain Campground, Granville, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Bathrooms were small, old/dirty, soap dispenser was empty often and paper towel dispenser was broken for 3 days! They advertised mini-golf, but we learned that it was staffed only on the weekend, and closed at 1 PM. Paddle boats advertised for use on pond were locked up and staff not available on the holiday weekend to unlock and clean for use. Many unsupervised kids roaming the camp grounds. Went to do a craft activity on a rainy day, and staff would not set up an additional folding table for us, but rather expected our family to split up to different tables with available chairs, not very friendly or accommodating. We camped next to a cabin on the pond that was allowed to set up multiple tents at their cabin, which made for many people at one site, and blocked our view of the pond. We would never return to this campground. We camped at Prospect Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.
