Blaze-in-Saddle, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed in Tucumcari before at a different RV park. This RV Park is a gem in the making. New ownership for 4 months and they are making it the best in the area. Easy pull through parking, level, full hook-ups, quiet (even though it located on RT 66) , clean laundry facility. No tables. Easy access to hwy. The owners are working on providing more amenities. They even have a corral for your horse! Friendly, helpful management. We camped at Blaze-in-Saddle in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Park Campground, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

What a sweet little rv park! Close to fishing, golf and Canyon Lake Park. The pictures of the lake on the website are of Canyon Lake Park. Staff was courteous and helpful. Gravel, level sites, wifi worked, pet friendly. The only negative was that the sites are quite close to each other. Our neighbor was unable to fully extend his awning. Would stay here again. We camped at Lake Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park, Wall, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Flat gravel pull throughs, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well kept facility. There is a nice area for pets. We stayed for 3 nights. Close to town and Badlands, as well as other sights. Only negative: the mosquitoes were thick and hungry. Were covered with them as we walked to town or sat outside. Need to spray. There's a marshy pond on or close to the property. We did use insect repellent and that helped a lot! We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Custer's Gulch RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park with courteous and helpful staff. Beautiful setting close to attractions, yet secluded. Nice bike paths and good fishing at the lakes. We stayed for 6 days. Only negative is that the laundry is cold water only, and the most expensive place that we did laundry. We camped at Custer's Gulch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice sites, easy to pull through. Friendly and helpful staff. Even the dog was friendly. Good location, close to everything. Nice trees and grass. Even permanent RV resident areas were well taken care of. The freeway is close (but not excessively loud), you eventually filter out the sound. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Western Hills Campground, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy. Easy to pull through RV sites. Friendly and helpful staff. A little off the highway, so you don't have the freeway noise. Great place for a short stay or layover to the next destination. It is very windy and I guess that's how it is, in that part of Wyoming. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
