Very clean and spacious RV area with paved sites. As others have stated, the trains do run regularly; however, that was not an issue. It might be more bothersome if the site was adjacent to the tracks; however, I was in Lot 11, which is adjacent to the waterfront and walking track. Spent 6 nights and enjoyed the stay. I would definitely stay here again. For those considering the park for the first time, a few things I learned: (1) Regardless of what your GPS tells you, the easiest access to the park from I-95 is Exit 21 (Sheridan St), travel about 3/4 mile west to North Park Road, turn right and park entrance is a short distance on right. (2) If you arrive on the weekend or a holiday, pack your patience when you arrive. The park charges people to come into the park on weekends/holidays, so there may be a line of cars at the entrance and it can be a bit congested, as well as a lot of people/cars as you maneuver to the RV parking area. (3)The park entrance gates close at 7:30 p.m. They leave the Exit side open for several hours if you are out and about town. If you do not come back from the nearby casino until 3:00 a.m., just give security a call and they will let you back in! And(4) if you have a large rig and are worried about maneuvering out of the regular park exit, there is a large exit gate beside the office for larger rigs to exit. All you do is call them as you're getting ready to leave, and let them know you need the gate opened.

Decided to stay here one night as a stopover. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Stayed in a pull-through near front of office, so I did not see entire facility. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Close to I-95, the Speedway and not too far from the beach area.

Stayed here five nights over the 4th of July weekend and enjoyed every day. This was my first trip to the mountains in my RV and I was somewhat apprehensive after reading reviews regarding the steep hills. I worried needlessly. Yes, the road to the campground is somewhat steep and the park roads are hilly, but I maneuvered with no problems. Care must be taken turning into the park, since the entrance is located in a very sharp curve and it is difficult to see any on-coming vehicles. Having a spotter get out to check traffic helps. I stayed on a pull-through lot that was tiered. I could only see the adjacent RV's roof. It was a level gravel lot with several small trees that afforded privacy. I could not believe how quiet this campground was in the evenings. As much as I enjoyed my daily excursions to the surrounding area, I looked forward to returning to the park in the evening just to sit outside and enjoy the quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is the first park I have been to where they actually wipe down the electrical boxes and water pipes when cleaning up a lot after someone leaves. They also turn the picnic tables upside down and clean under them. As mentioned in another review, just make sure you arrive before 6 p.m. I will stay here again.

Very clean park. Mostly permanent sites; however, they do have RV sites along the riverfront. The sites are spacious. I will stay here again. I would have rated this a 10, except for the fact that the campground is some driving distance to stores. However, the cleanliness of the park is well worth the extra driving to stores and attractions.
