I rated this park as excellent; because I don't require a pool, or the washrooms. We were here for a week. The park is very clean, well maintained and very quiet. The owner/manager, is a nice lady and has some very strict rules. If you own a dog, (we don't), make sure it's on a leash, and pick up after it. We've seen so many parks where the pet owner doesn't, and the park lets it slide, and this just ruins it for everyone. If you like clean, and quiet, you'll love this park.

This is a Passport America park and a real gem. We were two rigs (40' and 35') and had no problems moving around the grounds. Super clean and friendly. We were heading West and decided to get off I-10. Rte 90 is an excellent divided highway and the park is easy to find. Owner is a southern gentleman and is really out to please his guests. The actual PA rate is $12.50 but had to round up the number to get it in the rate box. We were going to stay two nights but decided to stay three. Try this place, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I just had to send in this review on this very unfriendly KOA park in Davenport Florida. Ft. Summit KOA has two sections, the main section, which you can see from the road, and is reserved for the over nighties and clubs that come in for a few days only. The other section is in the back of the park you can't see it from the road. If you happen to live here or stay more than a few days or plan to stay the season this is where you will be parked. We have talked to three couples who will not be back and neither will we. Another young couple with three kids wanted to be close to the pool but were told they would have to go to the "long term area". They were winter visitors for three months. They went next door to Theme World and got what they required. This may be our first and last stay at a KOA, what a shame. Back to Arizona next winter where parks thank you for your business. The manager just isn't interested in accommodating you. The laundry room in the "long term" area is dangerous. The washers back up on the floor and it's very slippery. We were very near the wireless antenna so our connection was good but others have told us when you are four or five coaches away, don't even try to stay connected. We use a satellite but have been told the cable system is not very reliable.

This is not a park you want to take your motorhome into. Although it is fairly close to the interstate, the access road is very narrow and winding. The actual entrance to the park is a very very steep downhill drive. Although there actually was a pool, it wasn't open and looked as though it is was not maintained at all. The cable doesn't work. We had our choice of 3 pull throughs because I believe the rest of the park is all park models. I must say the gent who checked us in was very friendly and welcomed us, but the park needs some updating. This is a Passport America park, but not very high on our "return" list.
