Peyton's Woods RV Park & Campground, Twillingate, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights. Iceberg passed our site both days. You can't beat that. We were even given a ride to Town, even though it is a nice walk. Could not have been better treated. Great location. Owners are busy improving their new campground. Looking forward to returning. We camped at Peyton's Woods RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You can watch the icebergs from the campsite. Walking distance to town. Great boat tours to the icebergs and whales. People are the greatest you can find anywhere. Their on-site food shack offers great food at reasonable prices. Don't miss this stop if you have a chance at all. You really cannot beat the view.

Elm River RV Park, Glenholme, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

I have stayed at this campground many times, as I return because of the service and condition of the campground. I read where someone said the sites were too close. I can't understand that because I love the spacious sites and the great service. Hope I can return again and again. Thank you Elm River, you do a great job. We camped at Elm River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Returned here this year and found it a great place to camp. Facilities are so all cared for, it is a pleasure to stay there. They were flooded last fall but they have everything back to normal. Great people. Thank you for the pleasure. We camped at Elm River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shubie Campground, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the first time June 11 &12. We were impressed from the time they took our reservation, through the manager booking us in. The security is great. The campground is well taken care of. The grounds are pristine. The washrooms are immaculate and the showers clean & hot. And they even have free Wi-Fi. Finally, the staff, bar none, are the most friendly you can find anywhere. We sure will be back, if we can get reservations. We camped at Shubie Campground in a Motorhome.
