Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Ashland, New Hampton, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

We booked this campground thinking it was a Yogi Bear campground with all the amenities and service that a campground in that chain represents. We were wrong. From the start we were amazed at how run down everything was. The washrooms and showers were filthy. There were cigarette butts on our campsite and all over the campground. The pool area was dirty, the patio chairs were disgusting and when we asked if a few of the empty chairs were taken, one of the staff said one was his and he was saving one for a girl. The office staff was friendly and 1 or 2 of the workers were friendly but the rest were similar to the young man at the pool, disinterested and not helpful or concerned about the campground or the campers. We have camped for over 10 years and have visited over half of the U.S. states and Canadian provinces. This campground is in the bottom three of all the campgrounds we have visited. To think that this is a Yogi Bear campground is incredible. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Ashland in a Tent Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River, Gardiner, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one week and we have nothing but good things to say about this campground. The facilities are spotless and the staff is friendly and professional. There are many activites for kids and while this is not a quiet campground in the afternoons or evenings, quiet-hours are respected by all. We will definitely be back! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Tent Trailer.

Great staff and very friendly seasonal campers (which is not always the case). There is a super play area for the kids and lots of activities for them. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone at Gloucester Point in a Tent Trailer.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent staff and relatively clean sites. The facilities (pool, jumping pillow) were nice. We stayed at the campground for almost a week and when the weekend arrived, the power went out a few times so there was no air-conditioner and it was also very noisy with campers playing loud music all day and well into the night. Quiet hours were not enforced. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Tent Trailer.
