Big River Resort (formerly Wabasha Motel and RV Park), Wabasha, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground. Located on the edge of town and walking distance to downtown. Also, a paved bike path runs right next to the park entrance. The interior roads and sites are gravel, but level and in good condition. Lots of space between the sites, lots of grass and many with shade. Very well groomed and in great condition. A new section is now open and this has a new bathroom and shower facility. WiFi signal was strong. Very quiet and safe. We did hear the train that is about 1 mile away, but didn't bother us (in fact i kind of like the sound of a train in the night). We would stay here again. We camped at Big River Resort (formerly Wabasha Motel and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. Mostly gravel but level with some trees and grass. The owner is rebuilding the sites and the center pull-through area looks to be completed. He is now working on the back-in sites on the south side of the park. The restrooms and showers were clean and modern. A new state-of-the-art Wi-Fi system has just been installed and worked great. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yerby's RV Park, Dumas, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located about in the middle of town, just a couple of blocks off the main drag. it looks like it was part of a mobile home park at one time, so all the sites are level and and have concrete parking and patio. The electric and water utilities looked to be new. Some shade and some grass. No restrooms, showers. or laundry. Wi-Fi did not work. Would be OK for an overnight stay. We camped at Yerby's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Camper Village, Tusayan, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This place needs a lot of TLC. All gravel, very little grass and some shade. But most sites were level. Restrooms and showers were not clean and in bad shape. Price is way to high for what they offer. If you can, try to avoid this place. We camped at Grand Canyon Camper Village in a Motorhome.

Not to bad of a place. All gravel, few trees no grass. Very nice people at check-in. Continental breakfast. Home cooked meals delivered to your door at a reasonable price. Wi-Fi was OK. Restrooms/showers OK. This place would work for an overnight stop. Price too high for what they offer. We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Motorhome.

Benner's Meadow Run Camping & Cabins, Farmington, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is an Ok campground. The interior roads and sites are gravel (rough gravel). Most of the sites were not level and crowded. Lots of nice shade trees, but not much grass between the sites. I did not see any pull thru sites. I think big rigs would have some trouble getting into this park. The restrooms/showers were clean with a mix of old/new facilities. The location is out of the way and kind of hard to find. Most of the sites were filled with seasonal units. I don't think we would stay here again. We camped at Benner's Meadow Run Camping & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Graceland RV Park & Campground, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a pretty nice park that has an excellent location to the Graceland activities. On site security and the Memphis police have a bike patrol that came through daily. The restrooms/showers were not as clean as they should have been, actually I think that for the number of campers here there are not enough restroom facilities. Sites are level and most were shaded. Wi-Fi signal was very strong. We enjoyed out stay and would stay here again. We camped at Graceland RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
