The campground is very conveniently located near Cedar Point and off of the highway. The grounds are very well kept. The pool and playground areas were clean and nice. There was a snack shack that had a nice selection. There was a jumping pillow. There was also a $1 per day per child charge to jump and a waiver needed to be signed. The pillow also closed for part of the afternoon. I only mention this because we have not encountered this before. There were crafts, activities, a movie and an ice cream social while we were there. We camped in a pull-through site that was plenty long, but narrow. The site was paved and level, as was the entire campground. There are a lot of tent sites. A lot. This campground was a bit noisier (campers) than we are used too. We had rather noisy tent campers across from us. Campers were constantly in and out of the campground. I think this may be due in part to the proximity to Cedar Point. You cannot hear Cedar Point, but we felt that most campers stayed here just to go to the Park or were passing through. All in all, it served its purpose well and we would probably stay there again. The reason we gave it a 7 is because of its transient nature. It is a nice, clean campground though.

Overall, we enjoyed this campground and will stay there again if in the area. The park was well kept. The playground was small. The pool was also small but well maintained. There is a baby pool. The small snack bar is open on Friday evening and all day Saturday. There is a jumping pillow. There was a nice kids craft on Saturday morning ($1.50). There are scheduled weekend evening activities throughout the summer. We were there for "Campground Idol". There is a very pretty lake and it makes for a nice walk around it. There are a lot, and I mean a lot, of seasonal campers. Everyone was very nice though. Our site was a very narrow pull through full hook up. We needed to buy more blocks (about 30 minutes away) to level our trailer. We slept slanted the first night. This being said, the rest of the sites looked much more level and also wider. No one else seemed to need to level their units to the extent we did. Had we had one of those sites, I am sure the rating for this campground would have been an 8 or higher. There were at least two dump stations that I saw if a full hook up site is not available. Overall we had a nice time and will consider this park in the future. Happy camping.

This campground was fantastic! We stayed during the 4th of July weekend. The park was immaculately clean. This is a terrific peaceful family park. Our pull through full hook up site was very large and private. The pool was wonderful. There are 3 playgrounds, a fishing lake, and paddle boating lake, a great putt putt course, golf carts to rent, a cafe and general store and much much more. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. They delivered firewood and ice, and picked up our garbage bags a few times a day from our site. There were tons of activities to engage our children. We were thoroughly impressed with this park and will definitely camp here again. Excellent and highly recommended!

This was our first outing. We had a great time. We camped in a pull through site that overlooked the playground, which was perfect for use because we have children. The playground is small and outdated, but there is a jumping pillow, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed during Memorial Day weekend. There were plenty of activities for the kids to do and we enjoyed the ice cream social each night. The pool looked nice but was not open yet during our stay. If you are looking for a smaller family-friendly park, this one will work for you. The sites are not overly big, but accommodated our trailer with its slide out. The owners are very nice and were very helpful.
