Finn Road Park Campground, Essexville, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

What a gem of a park. Not really close to anything but a lovely well maintained park. Office staff was very friendly. Well maintained sites, grass between sites well kept. I would definitely go back if the opportunity permits. We camped at Finn Road Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Check-in was orderly and fast. Checked in on July 1 and that was the only day that the Wi-Fi worked in the 6 days I was there. Complained to staff in store and she said they were aware and have trouble with it. Sorry. So many campers that it overloaded system. Our site was nothing but dirt and weeds. Was not anywhere near the rating Good Sam gives it (but then they never are). Will not go back to this park. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

As another has said, have been a frequent visitor of the Horse Park. We now have a new place to visit when in the area. Nice park. It is getting better all the time. Friendly helpful owners. Easy in and out access. Good WiFi. Close to everything Lexington. Will definitely be back next time in area. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunset Point Campground, Harrington, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely the highlight of our trip to date. This campground has owners that care. When we arrived he noticed that our step was not low enough to the ground so he brought over a wooden step to help. When we got ready to leave he asked another camper to move his truck to make it easier to get out. Oh did I mention that he delivered the cooked lobster to our rig, along with nut crackers and served on a cute lobster platter. Amazing view of tide rising and lowering. We will definitely find a way back to this little piece of campground heaven. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Kenisee Grand River Campground, Geneva, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff, nicely kept grounds. My low rating due to inability to use internet at site, front to back of site was 4ft off making it difficult to impossible to level. Told it was the only nightly site left. Park is mainly for permanents and seasonals. I would stop again but only for an overnight certainly no longer. We camped at Kenisee Grand River Campground in a Motorhome.

Bangor / Holden KOA (formerly Red Barn Campground), Holden, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are not level, roads are terrible in park, one lane with cars parked all along side of road, making it difficult to pull motorhome through. Many unkept permanent trailers. Rate is for CG USA, but still too much for what you receive. On the plus side, internet and cable are OK. We camped at Bangor / Holden KOA (formerly Red Barn Campground) in a Motorhome.
