Win-River Casino, Redding, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

When driving in, it looks somewhat resortish. Then you get a little closer and the rv area is a glorified parking lot with water, electric, sewer. The man in the golf cart led us to our site. Then took my hubby to the front desk to register and then give him the key to open the lock box to turn on electric. No cable tv, no wifi. Casino is small. The very bright lights in the parking lot lit up our entire r.v. we could have played baseball it was so bright. So if you stay here bring eye shades with you. This is just a good place to sleep one night. It is clean. We camped at Win-River Casino in a Fifth Wheel.

Morro Strand RV Park, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We thought it was a lot of money for this very tiny rv spot. No pull throughs. Gravel. Very close to neighbors. There is a lot nicer rv parks in morro bay. It is a quiet park. The cable is ok. The wifi is good. Husband and I were not impressed. It is close to the beaches. We camped at Morro Strand RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert Cypress Mobile Home & RV Park, Wickenburg, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice spacious park. Clean. We stayed over night. Lots of room to walk the dog. Neighbors had this annoying clicking thing to keep away pests and critters which my dog did not like. It had some kind of electronic wave and his hearing is very sensitive and he would not go outside. We asked them to please turn it off but they did not. We had to carry the dog to another part of. The park to take a walk to get away from the constant buzz and clicking. The walk down to wickenburg was great. We camped at Desert Cypress Mobile Home & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Close to down town. The walk was nice. The rv park very small. They had restrooms..no shower facilities. They have a big received room..that was so hot and nobody used it..could have put In showers there. Not much of an area to walk pets. We stayed for three days. The pool was not heated. It is a clean park but very tiny. We camped at Sentinel Peak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have spent two days here. Have not done to much yet. Due to some rv repairs. But the park does have just around the corner a place to buy almonds and oranges. We will go out and about later. To visit some museums and such.

RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino, Corning, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for one night. Good just for overnight stays. Our water heater went out in our rv. So no showers. In order to use the facilities one had to walk to the clubhouse by the casino. Which is inconvenient when it was 40 degrees outside. If they had shower facilities closer to the rv park I would give it a higher rating. We camped at RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino in a Fifth Wheel.

Boise / Meridian KOA, Meridian, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA states on the front that it is a President's Winner. It certainly isn't a winner for me. When we pulled in, there were a lot of campers around. They have around 216 sites available to customers. Once we got here, I noticed that once large areas were now very small, I suppose to squeeze in many people, and get more money. Our 5th wheel is 37ft long, and we pull with a rather large truck. We had to park on this graveled area, barely fitting, and unhook, to squeeze beside our 5th wheel. It is NOT big rig friendly. If you want a larger area, you have to buy the lot behind or in front of you. The park itself is quiet, the internet isn't all that good. It kicks a person off constantly, and there are some areas where they have other routers you can't even connect to. This internet is a joke. You have to jump through hoops just to go online. They offer you a coupon, which takes you to google, that you have to enter your name and address, then enter the coupon code. Well if you want to return, you have to check your email to get your username and password. Well that doesn't work unless you have a smart phone to check your email. It's a racket. This place is NOT pet friendly. They do not allow kennels or gates, and they don't want you to store things anywhere on their precious grass patch. We have a tiny dog, which when we are outside we like to keep in a large kennel, so he doesn't always have to be on a leash, and I read the lengthy rules and regulations that kennels and gates are not allowed. This place is not exactly a five star, and a small kennel shouldn't matter. It is quiet park, close to shopping and the water park. If you don't mind being packed in like a bunch of sardines in a can, then I guess you wouldn't mind this place. We won't be returning. We camped at Boise / Meridian KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Portal RV Resort and Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I just got here today. I am so impressed by the entire place. It's beautiful. It's a young campground and there are many changes ahead, but the work that is going to be done, will be very good. We stayed in the "ownership" portion of the camp. I must say, we were highly impressed, the pool is beautiful, the bathrooms absolutely lovely. The regular campground area is clean, and spaced nicely. It has something for everyone. Those who want just regular camping, those who want to tent camp, and those who want to experience something more of a resort type, this place is the place to come. It's a short drive to down town area. The personnel was very very helpful, and so very friendly. My husband and I would come to this camp ground again. If the "resort" campground was full, we would not even mind the regular area at the front of the park. The owner has something different in mind when it comes to this park, it IS definitely something for everyone. We camped at Portal RV Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
