Welcome Station RV Park, Wells, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $15.00

See my review from July 2014. Great atmosphere and a perfect place to stay after driving all day. The owners make up for any shortcomings the park may have. Will continue to stay here when traveling this road. We camped at Welcome Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Midway RV Park, Dexter, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very basic. Park is clean, has some full-timers. We were able to get long pull-thru. Hookup is in the middle of the pull-thru, so you can enter from either direction. We would stay here again. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ruins Road RV Park & Campground, Aztec, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy. Park is clean and well maintained. Some full timers, but we were able to get a pull thru large enough for MH and toad. Had a little trouble keeping 30 amps going, but worked long enough to get MH cool. We would stay here again. We camped at Ruins Road RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Icicle River RV Park, Leavenworth, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an OK park. Sites are very, very close and very, very tight. Packed in like sardines. No pet area to speak of. Pet run has been moved to an undeveloped part of the park. Otherwise, park is very clean and well maintained. If I was returning, this would not be my first choice, but I would return if the necessary. We camped at Icicle River RV Park in a Motorhome.

An oasis in the middle of desert. Small park with lots of green grass. Host very accommodating. Quiet, with running stream through park. Not many amenities, but an excellent place to stop and rest. Would definitely stay here again. Rate was Passport America. We camped at Welcome Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

West Houghton Lake Campground, Houghton Lake, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older campground with grass sites, dirt roads, and fairly close sites and a lot of full timers. The showers are individual rooms that looked rather old, so we didn't use them. The bathrooms were clean and freshly painted. The rate is the Passport rate with an additional $3/day for A/C. We stayed here 3 days. An okay place for a short stay. We camped at West Houghton Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Anderson Camp , Eden, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

At first, park was kind of hard to locate. Exit 182 on I-84 and make a right turn and then another right. But what a pleasant surprise when we found it. A little close to the interstate, a little more noisy than desired, but did not deter from our stay. We stayed here three days. Nice shady, pull-thru sites. New owners(March 2011) are very friendly and helpful. Even cut limb off tree so limb would not rub on top of trailer. One pool closed and one restroom closed, but others were very clean. On site gas a little higher priced than in town. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Travel Trailer.
