The Springs at Borrego RV Resort and Golf Course, Borrego Springs, California

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

I agree with all the past reviews. It is not a kid's park. It is geared towards the golfer. Quiet almost all the time. Dead quiet after dark. No fire rings at the sites, so no one is outside. It is top pricy for my taste. I am used to $50 max a night. We camped at The Springs at Borrego RV Resort and Golf Course in a Fifth Wheel.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest parks we have been in. New looking and very clean. Plenty of room between motorhomes. Great restaurant on site reasonably priced. Attendant assists you to your site with a golf cart. We have stayed here a couple of times in the last few years. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fresno Mobile Home & RV Park, Fresno, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very small and the spaces available for overnight RV's are next to the frontage street. This is more of a long term trailer park. It is in a very bad neighborhood. The owner of the park had me take my bikes and the rack off of my trailer because of routine theft at night and place them in his storage building. Even with my large cable and pad lock he stated they will just cut it off with bolt cutters. I had no plan on spending that time considering I was only there overnight. Everything else was fine but we did not feel safe at all. It was quiet at night early on. We camped at Fresno Mobile Home & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
