Southern Gates RV Park & Campground, Arabi, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Pros: Close to I75, pull thru, clean restrooms Cons: Bug heaven, no cable TV, very slow WiFi, mostly seasonal 5 or 6 transient pull thru's. Middle of nowhere. Owners not thrilled with PPA despite no other transients. VERY rough gravel road from recent washout. We camped at Southern Gates RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Russell Pond Campground (USFS), North Woodstock, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are widely spaced and heavily shaded. Showers are $2.50 for 5 minutes and large enough to share. Pond is small, 1/2 mile diameter and no real beach. Lots of empty sites even on weekend. We camped at Russell Pond Campground (USFS) in a Motorhome.

Warren Dunes State Park, Sawyer, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Quoted camp site rates do not include additional daily park entry fees, motorhome daily fees and extra charge for towed vehicle. My "Grassy' camp site either a dust bowl or mud puddle depending on weather. Showers and toilets dirty, plugged shower drains. Infested with kids. A leafy, over-priced slum. We camped at Warren Dunes State Park in a Motorhome.

Good, separated sites. Woodsy. Quiet. A bit too noisy kid and mutt friendly for my taste. Good showers. We camped at Rangeley Lakes State Park in a Motorhome.
