Bay Landing, Bridgeport, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

As Thousand Trails parks good this is not very will maintained. Sites are grassy and very long. But pool is closed, hot tub closed, no WiFi, no store. All the things that are expected from a Thousand Trails Preserve is missing. Roads are in real bad shape. All of the nicer sites are taken up by long tern residents. Three washers for a park with 290 sites. We camped at Bay Landing in a Motorhome.

Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park, Kinder, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very large friendly park. The parks was 80% empty but they park all the RV that were their next to each other. Shuttle service to the Casino. Rained while we were there so we didn't use the pool or other facilities. Very large gas station by the Casino. About 20 miles off the interstate. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Conroe / Thousand Trails, Willis, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

I totally agree with the last few reviews. I was here 5 years ago and there has been many improvement made here. I have been to many Thousand Trails Preserves some good and some bad this ranks up with some of the best. Only negative is there were only 3 working washers and 4 dryers for all the sites their. The interior roads do need some work. We camped at Lake Conroe / Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Shields RV Park (Military FamCamp), Naval Construction Battalion Center, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Very large concert pads on a pull through site. The only negative is there's no shade. Easy to get on and off base. Very strong free WiFi. Nicest military park I've been to. We camped at Shields RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Orlando RV Resort (Thousand Trails), Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Third stay at the Thousand Trails Orlando this year. Twice the electric went out on two trips for and extended period, and no one could tell us how long it would be out. Nothing like being in 90 degree heat and no A/C. On this trip we departed 9 days early.

For such a nice and well maintained park the electrical problem is on going. We camped at Orlando RV Resort (Thousand Trails) in a Motorhome.

Yellow Lantern Kampground, Cortland, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The manager was not present when we were arrived and had to buzz them to come to the office to check us in. They acted like they were doing us a favor checking us in, not very friendly. The site we were assigned was so badly rutted we had to asked for a different site. Again they acted like they were doing us a favor by changing sites. WiFi was very good, unable to get local channels on antenna. It is close to I-81. I would drive an additional 100 miles before I stayed here again. We camped at Yellow Lantern Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

Orbit RV Park, Grant, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly park, we were meet by the park manager directed to our sight and he help us back in. Our site was very long and we were able to park two vehicles on the site. Sites are grass and the grass needed to be cut. Power, water and sewer connections were excellent; the cable TV connection was not working. Park advertised Wi-Fi but we were unable to access it. There are plenty of permanent residents on site. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Orbit RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunshine Holiday RV & Mobile Home Park, Oakland Park, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the summer and the park was pretty empty with the exception of three RV, all other were permanent residents. We stayed for seven days. We were told to take two of the side by side pull through sites which gave us plenty of room. When the park is full in the winter these sites are on top of each other. The park is pretty run down and little maintenance was preformed during our stay. There is no nightly security and the only emergency number is to an onsite maintenance person. A very noisy party at the pool ran until 2:00 am in the morning one night. Lots of bugs and rodents were seen around the park. We camped at Sunshine Holiday RV & Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.
