Talladaga Nat'l Forest / Coleman Lake Campground, Heflin, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground. It is very clean and well maintained. The sites are a very comfortable size and private. It's a good place to go and relax. The only two things I could think of that would make it a 10 campground is the need for a playground for the kids and more than 2 sites with full hook up. I think they would see a lot more business if it had sewage on their sites. We camped at Talladaga Nat'l Forest / Coleman Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wind Creek State Park, Alexander City, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We camped at Wind Creek in April. We liked the campground very much. It was clean and very roomy. The staff were helpful with any questions we might have. The only reason they didn't get a perfect "10" is the fact that they need to install more full hookup sites. Everything else we couldn't complain about. It is well worth your trip down to check them out. We camped at Wind Creek State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
