Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Another great campground in our recent travels through the south east. My wife and I got an RV site next to the lake and had a wonderful stay here. We loved the laser show at night! The facilities were clean and it was any easy in an out for us on our way down to Florida. Thanks to the staff for providing a great stay. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Moonshine Creek Campground, Balsam, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We absolutely loved camping here during our recent stay over the July 4th weekend. The grounds were in great shape. It was nice to see so many families enjoying the weekend together. My wife and I are retired and finally made our way to the Blue Ridge Parkway, (we live in California), and we are very happy that we found Moonshine Creek since it was so close to the Parkway. We made our reservations last fall to ensure we would have a place to stay. The facilities were in great shape, bathrooms were fantastically clean, and the staff were helpful the entire weekend. The two main reasons we gave this campground a 10, were price and its location! $37 a night for a true campy feeling in the mountains. We will be back the next time we travel through the south east. We camped at Moonshine Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Naples / Marco Island KOA, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $74.00
Overall Rating:

For a KOA this place is pretty good. Its hot but that is what you get for camping in Naples FL in July. The place is clean and there are plenty of things to do for families. The pool is large and is refreshing if you don't mind all the kids. We will be here for a while so I will post another review if this campground deserves a lower rating. We camped at Naples / Marco Island KOA in a Motorhome.
