Large park outside of town, probably crowded during the season but nice and quiet for me after Labor Day. Lots of activities during season. Wifi weak.

Date of Stay:

Very crowded, even on a fall weekend.

Date of Stay:

Large park, mostly wooded. Reservations needed in season and in the fall check the Packer home schedule as its packed on those weekends.

Date of Stay:

Great city campground on shore of Green Bay. Level grassy sites in the trees, strong wifi.

Date of Stay:

Older campground with tired showers. Great stopping place for the area.

Date of Stay:

Another great city campground just outside of town on Lake Superior. Spacious sites, definitely would need reservations during the season. Strong wifi.

Date of Stay:

Heavily wooded park on shores of lake just outside of town. Few sites down by lake are sateillite friendly, most not. Non-existent wifi.

Date of Stay:

Beautiful city campground on shores of Lake Superior just south of Bayfield. Spacious sites with some shade (if you're looking for heavy forest campground go to Memorial Campground on north side of Washburn). Clean, well-cared for campground with good wifi.

Date of Stay:

This is all about the location. Right on the bay, walking distance to all the tourist amenities in Canal Park and downtown. yes, it's a parking lot with rigs slipped in side by side and the bathrooms are in a portable building with marine showers but I will stay here again in a second due to the location. Could be tight quarters for larger rigs. All back-ins, no pull-throughs.

Minimal choices in the area, those that are here are jammed with people using ATV's, etc. Spots terraced up the side of a hill, mostly level. Long sites. Bathroom functional, one toilet and one shower per sex, but not particularly clean. No wifi. Again, given the limited options, it is what it is.

Date of Stay:

Limited choices in area. Heavily wooded, large rigs might have trouble getting around. Bathrooms old and need remodeling, but worked.

One of the best parks I have stayed in lately. Spacious sites spread out along the east bank of the Red River right across from downtown Grand Forks. Easy walk across the bridge to city center. Choices available between pull-through/back-in or shaded/not shaded. Decent wifi.

Date of Stay:

This is a huge park that is mostly vacant now due to the downswing in the oil fields. Gravel sites just outside of downtown Minot. No ambience, not a resort but a clean, safe place to stop for a couple of nights.

Date of Stay:

Limited options in area, back-in area has spacious sites; pull-throughs closer together. Lots of long-timers but seemed to be just fine. The state park is out of town and sites definitely not level, this is the better choice if you're just passing through and need a place to stay. Will definitely stay here when in the area again.
