Palisade State Park, Sterling, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, well kept park. Lots of staff. Golf course in the park. Lots of water spaces available. Full hookups available. Several small towns nearby for shopping. (Wal-Mart in Ephrim.) We got some TV with just the antenna. Several youth groups here. We camped at Palisade State Park in a Motorhome.

Lava Hot Springs / City Center KOA (formerly Rivers Edge RV & Camping), Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $4.00
Overall Rating:

In 25 years of RVing, this was the worst experience we have ever had. It was definitely meant for campers, not RVers. Lots of tenters, dogs and kids run loose throughout the park, everyone walks through others spaces, noisy. It does have lots of shade and is right on the river. May be perfect for families with kids, but not for older RVers. No enforcement of hours. Awful! We camped at Lava Hot Springs / City Center KOA (formerly Rivers Edge RV & Camping) in a Motorhome.
